aqua grill

a feel good place!. i love dining out and especially enjoy places that make you feel welcome. aqua grill was a warm, comfortable and feel good place. the food was fabulous and menu selections were unique. the service started off a little slow but after we got rolling: the experience was exceptional. my crab salad, snapper provencal and crab cake appetizer were as good as i had in a long, long time. the server was very professional and really pleasant. the manager came over twice to make sure we were happy and gaveus a small idea of what to do in this area. we were treated great and loved the food! ate there two of three nights in town and really happy we did.

awesome. after trying lunch there and being impressed, we signed up for e-mail notices and decided to come back at the next chance -but for dinner this time.we were shocked at the 'realness'of the italian eggplant parm: my wifes snapper weve had in decades.the portions are huge and its nice to see a restaurant not cutting corners in tough times, love the atmosphere dining and the lounge the bread served and the key lime pie-truly a winner, u gotta go try this place or go to the lounge for a game(like cheers with great food) small plate offerings too.theyve got all bases covered.no excuses-the management is very accessible. a great experiencewith tremendous variety and a chef trained in italy.

love this place!. i am from nyc and aqua grill in ponte vedra is one the best dining experiences i have ever had. the food was fantastic, fresh and unique. the service was quite friendly and professional. we sat outside which was very pleasant with the breeze from the ocean. if you love fresh fish, great steaks, people who care ( they told us aqua grill has been there 22 years ) then go to this great place. one last point , the owner was very affable and went to every table to make sure everybody was happy. that really helps this place stand out. 5 stars!!!

delicious and delightful!;-). staff is genuinely attentive...menu is innovative (specials change daily)...try the daily specials...you can't go wrong! we enjoyed every item and will return!!! this is a gem worth the drive!!!;-)

love this place!. from the minute we came in aqua grill we felt welcome and happy to be there. the staff was fun but professional: the food was awesome and i mean awesome. great selection of unique items and fresh seafood that was some of the best i have ever had. i was in the mood for steak but could not pass up on the dynamite chilean sea bass which was superb. fortunately my brother in law got the marinated new york strip with wild mushrooms and potato au gratiin; so i was able to try that tremendous dish. the appetizers were delicious, the mangaer was welcoming every table and the place was buzzing. went into the bar to watch the end of the yankee game and it is definetly the "cheers" of that town. great time!!!

the food was awesome. service excellent as well. portion were real big but that is ok because i had lunch for the next day. i've been here a few times and the menu is always different. i guest they want to keep things fresh however i couldn't remember what i had last time. i had pistacio crusted hog snapper and my wife had pork osso bucco. both were killer. this restaurant a must go to

fabulous. this restaurant belongs in new york city, the food was amazing. great choices with fish and so many different specials. i had herb crusted trout with ragout of fresh spinach, corn, mushroom and red pepper with lemon butter beurre blanc it was to die for. my wife had a cajun new york strip with a chimachurri and shoe string onion rings. this place was by far the best we have eaten at while in jacksonville

not great. fairly mediocre - our waitress was friendly but the dishes left much to be desired. the friday night crowd was scarce, which i think says a lot... there's better out there

really great experience. i just ate lunch at the aqua grill - if i lived in town, this would quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. my waitress (tammy) was patient, courteous and professional, guiding me through all of my possible selections and helping select the one she thought i'd enjoy most. i ordered the eggplant parmesan and asked for fra diavlo instead of marinara - no problem! the meal came with a salad and the entree had a very nice portion of angel hair pasta. the eggplant portion dwarfed the pasta portion - it was very large and very, very good. i know good eggplant when i eat it - i'm from new york - and this was absolutely first rate. this restaurant is sooo much better than cafe andiamo's (where we had dinner last night) - they are not even in the same league. i highly recommend this place.

it was great!!!. i was celebrating my 12 year anniversary so i decided to take my wife for a long weekend away.. we stayed at the marriott in sawgrass, not knowing the area well we ask a gentleman at the bell stand who park our car where to go, he recommended going to aqua grill. we got a second recommendation from a guest from the hotel who had eaten there the night before so we decided to give it a try and made reservations for 7pm. we arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and was told politely that it will be a few minutes for our table and if we like to go to the lounge to a have glass of wine or cocktail while we waited. the bartender was very outgoing and friendly, bar extremely busy but the energy was good and fun. about 10 minutes past until the hostess came and got us, they transfered our check to the table. we were greeted by a waitress name alexandra, again very friendly and professional, it just seemed everyone working there ws happy. after going overt he menu alexandra reccommended we get the oyster bienville and seafood chowder, as soon as i put the first bite in my mouth i knew this was going to be an awesome meal, the chowder was thick filled with shrimp and scallop and crab, wow . oyster bienville was three large oyster with a roasted vegetable and shrimp stuffing topped with hollandaise. that was great , however a little on small size, (only negative thing for the evening).
for our entree i had rainbow trout gremolata and
my wife a whole "beeline" snapper both were perfectly cooked and each special was unique and well presented. i can tell you they have some serious talent in their kitchen. very impressive was the gm coming by our table to make sure everything was good, it was very genuine not a quick meet and greet like you see at some restaurants the kicker was the anniversary dessert plate they brought out for us wishing us a happy anniversary. everything from food, service and atmosphere was top notch. this is a must restaurant if you are in the

needs help. i left aqua grill completely disappointed. the food is mediocre especially when you consider the prices. i will not return.

my husband and i are in town on vacation and the hotel clerk recommended aqua grill. it is amazing! i had a caesar salad and the chicken and gorgonzola pasta. it was the best pasta i've ever had. the bread comes with herb flavred butter that is to die for. even the brussels sprouts are awesome! i've never liked them before but these are great. the atmosphere is dark and quiet, very private and charming. all staff were very friendly and pleasant. i wish we lived closer so we could come back again. worth every penny!

a must experience!. my husband and i recently moved here from virginia beach where we were used to eating only the freshest seafood around. a friend recommended we try aqua grill. i must say my friend's recommendation was perfect. the menu was amazing with so many fresh fish options i didn't know how to decide. our server was very knowledgeable and pointed us toward some of their most popular items. i had a seared mahi-mahi topped with a tomato basil beurre blanc, shrimp, and crab meat. my husband had their whole red snapper bangkok topped with a mango sweet and sour sauce. both dishes were superb! between the food, the delightful service, and the relaxed atmosphere we couldn't have had a better time. we are thoroughly looking forward to our next opportunity to go there and will be taking our friends as our way of thanking them for introducing us to such a gem of a restaurant! kudos to the owner and entire staff of the aqua grill!

awesome place to eat!!!. i love eating at aqua grill. they have some of the best fish dishes in town. their chefs are always coming up with new flavors to entice you to try. i have to say the fried green tomatoes are the bomb. great happy hour too...i think im off for a cocktail and some tomatoes. yummy!! :)
