the food is absolutely amazing, and the bar staff is second to none. i definitely recommend this place to anyone.

a destination!. this was our first stop after landing at the jacksonville airport. the service was outstanding and the food was second to none! we were only in town for 4 days and chose to eat here 3 times. they treated us like family! we loved the miso-yaki lacquered butterfish, day boat scallops scampi, oysters rockefeller, jumbo lump blue crab cake and key lime pie. we hope to travel to jacksonville again just to try the rest of the menu!

disappointed. had dinner with my wife on 10/21; the aqua, (oysters) rockefeller were excellent and the seafood gumbo was good. my wife's fried tilapia was only ok but her greens were "crunchy" and not really edible. i had the broiled combo. the shrimp were tough and had little taste and my tilapia was tasteless; overall, i was very disappointed; a poor value for the money spent.

best by far!!. aqua grill has gone above and beyond my expectations as a restaurant. my fiance and i get treated like gold every singe time we dine! previously being in the hospitality business myself, i can't tell you how much i appreciate good service, and the wait staff at aqua grill is the best i have ever seen. they are knowledgeable, personable, attentive, and nice!! the food is unique and absolutely the best, the presentation is stunning, and it is always fresh. tara makes us feel at home and is always so welcoming, we love her! the atmosphere, ambiance, and service will keep us coming back, even hoping to have our rehearsal dinner there! if i could make one suggestion it would be for the hostesses to be more friendly and, as always, smile. it makes a huge difference when you walk in and the first person you see is frowning. all in all i couldn't say enough about aqua grill, they will have my business for years to come!

always consistent!. we are relatively new residents to ponte vedra, but even prior to moving here, we always dined at aqua grill. the food is always consistent, the seafood is fresh and there is a huge variety of menu options. the lunch menu is also very good! for those who have dietary restrictions, there are many vegetarian options on the menu as well. there is something for everyone at aqua grill.

aqua grill gets a great review. i highly recommend aqua grill if you're looking for fresh fish, great presentation, in an atmosphere of hospitality. i had the pan roasted st augustine triggerfish with scallion and bacon risotto. the serving was large, but not inappropriate. the triggerfish was light and delicate, but meaty; it was done perfectly. and the risotto was tasty and creamy with just the right amount of flavor to compliment the triggerfish. my family had sesame seared ahi tuna, and triggerfish done "first hemingway"style. the ahi was a nice, thick cut of fish with that perfectly seared outer layer and a rich, ruby color on the inside. again, done perfectly. when i go back to aqua, i'll do a white-fish done in the first hemingway-it's a crusty, parmesan, herb-encrusted coating that really brings a wonderful texture to a delicate fish. we shared a desert platter consisting of a rich, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and key lime pie. hands down, we all voted the key lime pie as our favorite. the crust was probably the best i've ever had-crumbly and just sweet enough to compliment the limey-ness of the pie. amazing. service and presentation get two thumbs up from me. i'd go back again in a heartbeat.

phenomenal!. my wife and i went to aqua grill in order to celebrate a special occasion. the decor was very nice, the service excellent, and the food phenomenal! she had the mahi rizzo and i selected the bang-bang cod. both dishes were top quality culinary experiences. the server was attentive and the manager came by and made us feel welcome. i had a martini that was outstanding and their wine list was very satisfactory. we will definitely return and recommend aqua grill to anyone who will listen!

excellent seafood for over 20 years. my husband and i have been dining at the aqua grill for over 15 years. i can honestly say that we have never had a bad experience. aqua grill has everything a great seafood restaurant should have; fresh local seafood, delicious and unique preparations of their seafood, and a friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. you can dine at aqua grill several times in a week and get a southern influenced dish on one visit and an asian inspired creation the next visit. at my last dining experience i got the spice seared ahi tuna with wild mushroom breadpudding accompanied by a port wine reduction, and i am hooked. aqua grill also has an excellent wine selection and a full bar that serves one of the best martinis i have ever had, the aqua-tini. there are plenty of non-fish dishes such as veal schnitzel and a mouth watering bacon wrapped filet.
if you still have room for desert, the creme brulee and key lime pie are to die for. aqua grill is truly one of the gems of northeast florida and should not be missed

we have lived in ponte vedra beach for over six years and have been fans of the aqua grill before we became residents. we have never been disappointed with any of the meals. the staff knows us and comes by to visit. the food is excellent and the choices are limited only to your taste buds the kitchen will prepare any fish on the menu in any fashion you choose. i have only had the seafood, but my wife had a steak on our anniversary and i had a small piece that was so tender i was able to cut it with my butter knife.we find the menu eclectic and full of specials that make full use of the seafood found in the florida waters if you want an experience try the chefs daily bang-bang special, remember they will make any fish on the menu in this manner, it may be spicy, but it is my favorite and is always wonderful.

amazing experience. my wife and i dine out all the time and came to jacksonville from a big city with wonderful restaurants. jacksonville does not have alot of great restaurtants but aqua grill is the best we found. the food is superb, the ambiance is warm and comfortable: the service is very good. we love the menu and great amount of interesting choices. this place is truly amazing and we go as much as possible.

bad place; do not go!. i just tried to have my birthday there and will never go back again!!

we decided to try their birthday special even though the last time we went to aqua grill we did not like it and felt the food was very mediocre. well this time around we called for the birthday lobster. we were told that it would be fine to get this for lunch as we could not go on my birthday at night. so we made a 2:00 pm reservation. we were also told that even though they do not have the lobster meal now as a special they do have the $25.00 off the birthday meal. she assured my wife that their lobsters are around one pound so it would be included. when we went there the waitress bluntly told me that the coupon could not be used in anyway for the lobster at lunch as they do not cook them for lunch. we told her the story as above and asked her to check with the manager. she came back and stated the manager stated the same there is no way he would allow it. we had my elderly mother with us and all had to get up and leave as the coupon was our reason for trying aqua grill again. i have never been treated so badly in any restaurant i have been to in my live and i go to many. on the way out i saw the manager and after him being nasty about telling us it was tuff they were not budge he just got patronizing with me. i will tell every one i know to stay away from aqua grill!! why are they still in business?

great dinner. my wife and i took a chance in bringing our 2 year old along, and we were pleasantly surprised. server was friendly and eager to answer allergen questions. entrees were excellent and huge (probably too big). i got the vidalia rainbow trout with crab risotto and my wife got scallop scampi. son had grilled cheese. mgr came to check on us and got the little one sherbet on the house, which was a nice touch. strongly recommend..

fine dining, fun atmosphere. last night my bf and i went to ag for the first time. let me start out by saying it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. mandi, our server was so great. she knew the extensive menu well and had great opinions on what to order. she also knew a lot about wine. she helped direct me to a new choice since my palate is changing. i was really greatful because i haven't enjoyed a glass of wine in months. the food was excellent! we both got fish apps and mains and it was cooked perfectly! i often find that the local "fine dining" places still can't cook a piece of fish properly. i was impressed with the attention paid to every component on my plate. everything complemented the main protein and i found myself eating all of the sides, which i don't often do. don't be put off by the pricing because the portions are not skimpy ..... you absolutely get what you pay for here. we both look forward to going back soon and trying out their ever changing menu again. i know when we do, we will be asking for mandi as our server.

lunch?. the grilkled and shrimp tacos were very good and i would order them again. the atmosphere is nice but the service was a little slow.
