why cant usc have a pizza shop like this?. i like walking the streets and buying a slice ofpiefor a snack.

when you're in upper st. clair you can't do that but a few miles north and but-a-bing, civilization!

now this place aint too bad, i rather enjoyed it.

good enough that if i am driving by and see a open spot in front of the shop, i would probably stop.

whoever said even bad pizza is good was wrong. good pizza is an art, this place has mastered it.

glad we finally grabbed apiehere!. i've been hearing great things, and you can see a ton of other great reviews here. i'm happy to say that i was not disappointed!

my wife & i dined there tonight, got a 16" redpiewith green peppers and ricotta. i've never had ricotta on a pizza before, but it looked good... glad i tried it!

the place is really inviting. i felt relaxed, they employees were very cool. it was cool to see 'em form the dough & make the pizza from scratch. the crust was excellent, and the sauce was great. i'm usually a fan of the sweet sauce, but this was nice & savory without being bitter. one of the great things in the 'burgh with so many pizza shops... you get in the mood for a specific pizza, not just pizza.

someday i may get adventureous & try eggs on the pizza... and i'd love to try a chicken parm or meatball sub.

they had turner's iced tea too, which is always a plus. i can see this place becoming a regular food stop, & i can try everything on the menu because there's no creepy death-fish! (shellfish allergy - makes dining out a royal pan in the rear sometimes.)

the dude abides. killer pizza here, i thought the sauce and toppings were of the highest quality. had a 16 incher red pizza pie. i liked that thepiewas cooked a little bit longer than most places around here. meaning it was nota sloppy pile of dough, sauce, greasy cheese mess. it held together nicely. ate at the pizza stand but i think their main business is carryout or delivery. apparently it is byob but unfortunately there is no bathroom which sort of sucks. also it is really an excellent pizza the next day heats up in your home oven nicely, but i prefer to eat it cold which was excellent as well. also a basic, simple menu so they do what they do well.

very good. i live in dormont and they're in mt. leb, so i'm glad they finally abandoned the fri/sat delivery and expanded that to the entire week.

i've ordered from them 3-4 times now and find their pizza to be excellent, as well as a good value. they offer a huge variety of quality toppings that are always fresh. their sauce is very tasty and regardless of topping choice, there's always plenty of cheese.

you can just tell when a place cares, and these guys are obviously trying to offer a higher-end/modern pizza at a decent price.

no, it's not a pgh "classic" like mineo's. but mineo's charges $25 for a goodpieand takes over an hour to deliver it. and besides...aren't you sick of fiori's by now?

if you want something new and different, give these guys a try. the pizza is good, delivery is pretty fast and they've proven consistent and reliable thus far.

anthony's whitepieis superb. i'm a big whitepiefan and i'd put anthony's up there with any in town, including the sq hill institutions. when he first opened it was ok, but now that he's been open a few months he's hitting his stride both with the crust and the seasonings. a great addition to washington rd.

fantastic. the pizza here is fantastic. one of the first things you will notice is the sauce (many places it isn't noteworthy) which is slightly sweet and herby. the crust is just the right consistency - not too thick, not too thin, and slightly chewy. the toppings are definitely fresh and of high quality. plus, this is the only pizza i've ever had that pizza by the slice is as good as by thepie- try saying that about mineo's.
