antonio's mexican restaurant

antonio's -dont go.. we as a family have been eating faithfully at antonio's for years. first in burleson and one to two times a week in weatherford since it opened. unfortunately the service the last several months has been so bad we can no longer support this restaurant. the younger less experienced wait staff is inconsiderate and does not appear to want to be there. they do not have any concern for service or work ethic. i would recommend any othermexicanrestaurant in weatherford other than antonio's. maybe if enough people stop going they will address the problem.

worsemexicanfood i have ever had. nothing is fresh the queso was made from a powder and the chorizo was just regular sausage. do not waste your money, your palate will be offended.

discerning taste. i have to make a comment about one of the negative reviews here on urban spoon about antonio’s. the reviewer has 26 reviews posted and each one is a bad review on various eateries except one positive one which said “rolls are good and very filling.” good or bad, read reviews with a discerning eye and your mouth will be happy. thank you, urban spoon, for being the mouthpiece for our mouths.

my place for guests. this is my go-to place for good tex-mex and i cannot catch this place on an “off” night because the food is always fresh, the staff pleasant and the meals are always delicious.

located on santa fe drive just off i20 on the southeast edge of weatherford, antonio’s is my favorite place to take quests because i know they will not be disappointed. many meals are about $7.50 with deluxe entrées up to 15 bucks. meals are not ordinary, but fresh, plated very well and stand out from othermexicanrestaurants.

at our last outing, i had “ana’s” plate, which featured a chubby burrito with marinated shredded chicken, a fresh crispy beef taco, salad and the usual bean and rice sides. the beans are particularly above ordinary with a smoky flavor and the salads are fresh and crispy. i chatted with our waiter about how we enjoy coming to his restaurant and he said he very much likes working there and would pass our compliments on to the manager. we had not planned dinner that night and i suggested running up the road to a taco bell. my wife said, “heck. for a few bucks more we can go to antonio’s and have a nice meal.” what a smart woman.

antonio's? mmmm. superb food that is prepared and presented well - not just you average enchilada and beans. good service. my wife and i have been there four times, and the last time was for a wedding party of about 15 (call ahead for large groups). the waiter handled us perfect and the food was hot. my guests were impressed. it is where i take out of town guests. good prices, too.

one of my favoritemexicanrestaurants!! great food, great service & quite atmosphere!! go to antonio's at least twice a month. keep serving great food!

if you are looking for traditionalmexicancuisine this is not your place while the food was good it was not what i expected

support small family businesses. if there was such a thing asmexicancomfort food, that's what i would call antonio's. i've never had any complaints in all my years of patronage.

the best. i can't understand the negative reviews for this restaurant. weatherford has needed an excellentmexicanrestaurant and when antonio's showed up we hit the jackpot. this is the bestmexicanfood ever. the hot sauce and chips are fresh and delicious. the entrees and enchiladas are the best i've ever had. i have never had a negative experience in all the time they have been here. the manager is awesome and the service was top notch. the servers deserve extra tips!

this was the grossestmexicanfood i have ever ate. taco bell is way better. i don't ever want to go back, even the margarita was terrible!

good food, good prices. this is one of my husband's favorite places to eat. every time he flies in from out of the country on humanitarian trips, it's the first place he wants to visit. it's probably not the most authentic or absolute bestmexicanfood in dfw, but i find they're very consistent with good food, good service, and always have budget-friendly prices. it's also a good place to take large groups because they don't make you wait until your whole party is there before they'll seat you, like a lot of big chains do now-days.

good food. antonio's have the best margarita's, chips/salsa and guacamole around. they have good soups also.
a good place to eat. priced right, with good quality and quanity of food. my family and i have eaten at antonio's so many times and we always have a good dining experience. even when antonio's first opened, they had some service issues but within a week or two of opening those issues were history. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend antonio's to anybody looking for some goodmexicanfood.

wonderful. antonio's is superb! for a localmexicanrestaurant, i whole heartedly recommend them. there service is immpecable; we have always been served with the greatest of respect and hospitality. the food is scruptious...especially their chile rellanos....yummm. i highly recommend them. their salsa is not powered! i did; the first time i went there have to send my plate back because it was still cold in the middle, but they were not rude about it at all. love this place, we go there quite often.

excellent. antonio'smexicanrestaurant has some of the best mexican/tex-mex food i've had in a long time at prices that are nigh unbeatable. their service is always great and the staff is always nice. i've eaten there many, many times and will continue to go back time and again.

their tortilla soup is so simple and flavorful that it's become one of my favorite soups.

i would recommend this place to anyone, anytime.
