good food great ambiance and a very friendly service. it is one of a premier veg food joints in coimbatore they have relocated from race course to the newplacenear the high court. this is my first time in the new location. the food i feel is pricey but it is worth the money. the thali is too full and they have different kinds and if you are a good eater order the thali if not go for the regular stuff. the unlimited thali has lots of varieties from hot hot puri to rice to gravies to sambar it seems never ending, forgot the soup, drink the icecream uff. too much food.

the bestplacefor a complete tamil meal. excellent service combined with lovely dishes, you can't go wrong if you choose to have one of their meal combinations. they have a north south combined meal (preethi bhojan) and south only meal (laghu bhojan). we always pick the laghu bhojan. they usually have 2 vegetables, 1 kootu curry, served with kara kozhambu, sambhar, rasam and curd rice. besides this they have soup and starter before, one special rice and sweet at the end. they also have a selection of podis and thokkus to go with the rice. to sum it up, it's a treat to the pallette and something we look forward to every time we visit coimbatore.

ambiance is absolutely divine. food is very tasty. service is just top notch. must visitplacein coimbatore. i had similar experience with annalakshmi singapore as well.

the only positive feature is the ambiance of theplaceand service of the staff. the food is bland and tasteless. the food arrived cold. almost everything was saltless.

divine ambiance, royal staffs, meals is overpriced but a feel good feel as on home. dosa, friedrice, pulav and other dishes are mediocre and the coffee is okayish. drinks might work for few. overall a niceplaceto have a grand dining ina divine ambiance with family to spens time. taste is strictly mediocre and might dissapoint if you expect on par with other leading restaurants. however theplaceis worth for few compromises. also the meals served here is slightly overpriced but still it is worth on a major part!
however i felt few dishes to be slightly better than mediocre annalakshmi pulav and green peas masala. hospitality and service is very pleasing! nice interiors 😊

went here for a weekend lunch since we wanted to try some newplacefor vegetarian meals other than annapoorna and aaryas.

the restaurant when we walked in was empty, being their for the first time that too in a peak lunch hour the empty tables did make us surprised.

the decor is so soulfully done. the goddess idol, the paintings on the wall, wooden furnitures, silver cutleries, colourful roof all this gave a divine feel.

we ordered special thali meals, the special meals started with a mint lime juice followed by corn soup accompanied with onion bajji, the soup tasted really good it did make us have an high expectation on what was about to be served,  next came miniature poori and  paniyaram both tasted very average after that was served with white rice sambar, kolambu,  rasam and curd rice. the special meals also included kasery and ice-cream for dessert.

every dish served on the plate tasted very homely but nothing impressive though all the dishes were supposed to be unlimited we dint go for a second serve of any of it.  was most  disappointed with sambar and rasam, sambar tasted lot of turmeric and rasam was bland.

for a hefty charge of 400+tax per plate for veg meals we expect something extraordinary, something impressive, something which makes the food worth what we pay for and not the ambience alone but the food they served  dint do any justice. and i personally feel that it's a rip off considering the number of dish and it's taste.

truly amazing place.. traditional indoor decors.. authentic south indian cuisine.. loved every bit of it.. though the menu is pricey, the ambience and service makes up for it.. loved every moment.. a great restaurant for veggies.. my rating would be taste 8.5/10, ambience 9.5/10, value for money 7.5/10, overall a must tryplaceespecially if you are a veggie..

simply, perfection achieved. outstanding service, succulent food, soothing ambience. a complete south indian experience that no otherplacecomes close to offering. took a bit of taking, but this is the first time i'm giving a restaurant five stars. totally deserved.

good authentic rich food with good ambience and good employees andplacewhere you'll get quality & quantity. most of the spread available are not spicy. moderate and palatable food. love this joint for the good annalakshmi idol inside the hotel.

annalakshmi is my favouriteplaceto have a good lunch thali. the food is rich, and the ambience and decor is very authentic. they have some lovely music playing in the background. their service is very quick and the staff are friendly. the food is well priced too. hop in at annalakshmi for some good lunch with your family and friends.

great ambiance with beautiful wooden furniture. always a must visit when i pass by coimbatore.

i always take either laghu bhojan thali and try their ice creams. thisplacehas a lot on their menu but somehow the decor doesn't somehow encourage me to try their north indian dishes.

for coimbatore it feels like this is a bit on the higher side of price.
