disappointed with the new location. however thefoodand service still good. the thali is good and so are other items. parking and accessibility big issues

we as a family were there in feb of 2015. we loved thefoodand atmosphere. the staff were very friendly and attentive. one of the best in coimbatore. thumbs up from us. 4/5

goodfoodgreat ambiance and a very friendly service. it is one of a premier vegfoodjoints in coimbatore they have relocated from race course to the new place near the high court. this is my first time in the new location. thefoodi feel is pricey but it is worth the money. the thali is too full and they have different kinds and if you are a good eater order the thali if not go for the regular stuff. the unlimited thali has lots of varieties from hot hot puri to rice to gravies to sambar it seems never ending, forgot the soup, drink the icecream uff. too much food.

annalakshmi , the pure vegetarian restaurant has a history of 30 years . know for the pure veg thali , thefoodwas really excellent and its worth every penny . i have enjoyed thefood. including the starters as well as the desserts and a pan .

ambiance is absolutely divine.foodis very tasty. service is just top notch. must visit place in coimbatore. i had similar experience with annalakshmi singapore as well.

the ambiance was great. the service was excellent. the ghee and hot water was the best dishes we had. the sliver plates design was a good thought. talking about the main thing, thefoodwas a total flop. they are trying to teach the brahmins how to eat curd rice.
one word dull.

the only positive feature is the ambiance of the place and service of the staff. thefoodis bland and tasteless. thefoodarrived cold. almost everything was saltless.

annalakshmi used to be an old favorite growing up but now the quality has gone down.foodis ok, nothing great to come back to. the experience is more meh than awesome. sadly wouldn't be coming back unless we know it's improved.

went here for a weekend lunch since we wanted to try some new place for vegetarian meals other than annapoorna and aaryas.

the restaurant when we walked in was empty, being their for the first time that too in a peak lunch hour the empty tables did make us surprised.

the decor is so soulfully done. the goddess idol, the paintings on the wall, wooden furnitures, silver cutleries, colourful roof all this gave a divine feel.

we ordered special thali meals, the special meals started with a mint lime juice followed by corn soup accompanied with onion bajji, the soup tasted really good it did make us have an high expectation on what was about to be served,  next came miniature poori and  paniyaram both tasted very average after that was served with white rice sambar, kolambu,  rasam and curd rice. the special meals also included kasery and ice-cream for dessert.

every dish served on the plate tasted very homely but nothing impressive though all the dishes were supposed to be unlimited we dint go for a second serve of any of it.  was most  disappointed with sambar and rasam, sambar tasted lot of turmeric and rasam was bland.

for a hefty charge of 400+tax per plate for veg meals we expect something extraordinary, something impressive, something which makes thefoodworth what we pay for and not the ambience alone but thefoodthey served  dint do any justice. and i personally feel that it's a rip off considering the number of dish and it's taste.

we were craving for a good south indian meal. so thought we would give the restaurant a shot. we went there on a sunday afternoon. not much crowd when we got there. the ambiance was very traditional, soothing. looked like the right ambiance for a good meal. it was served by people in traditional dress- looked like they were members of the same family.
we ordered a regular meal and a special meal. then on, things were on the down side, did not keep up to our expectations i would say. they were very slow, we had to literally ask every course couple of times, even an extra plate for my 3 year old son took a long time. it kind of looked like they forget you, and you have to remind them you are there, they seem to be more busy with bigger tables! ac was on higher side and things were almost served cold. i don't prefer that, any day for a meal!
the taste was not very great it was just fine. the special meal was elaborate, so kinda balance the okay taste. i had to personally ask them for the dhal rice powder which was mentioned in reviews (guess they forgot!), it was served with ghee which was solid on barely warm rice, so needless to say did not taste that great. taste of thefoodwas homely.
then came in the bill which had a whooping 400 bucks for the special meal which was higher than its worth.
overall i doubt i would go back again.

being in coimbatore for the past 26 years tis is d first time am visiting tis restaurant tat too for my bangalore frnd who had been here. someone has suggested him tis restaurant. i really loved d interior decorations. it was really awesome.foodwas ok oly and costly ( of course it should be after being located in coimbatore's most posh area ). my frnd ordered godavari meals. he told tat d taste was different maybe bcoz he is from bangalore. service was really good.

good authentic richfoodwith good ambience and good employees and place where you'll get quality & quantity. most of the spread available are not spicy. moderate and palatable food. love this joint for the good annalakshmi idol inside the hotel.

its located at a very good place. ambience is very good, the rates are very high for the quality of, thefoodis just avg nothing but by the look of the restaurant i thought thefoodwould be amazing. altogether its an average restaurant
