twice now, anjappar has come to my rescue. not being used to digest burgers and pizzas on such frequent basis, my tummy was aching for some rice. right then, anjappar was like a single breath of fresh air for me.
an egg biriyani at both times, for 9$ it serves a decent portion. however, the food quality was below the par that it sets in india. the rice was dry and looked reheated. curd raita was the saving grace. my friends ordered the "aapam with coconut milk" and a "fish biryani". while the aapam was decent, fish biryani was the same as the egg. thechicken65 was downright sad. it was dry and looked like frozen food, not fresh at all.
nevertheless, i wouldn't mind heading back to the place unless i find better alternatives.
