we had a nicedinneryesterday with my parents for their first time. although we enjoyed what was on the menu for vegetarian (zucchini ribbon, salad and veg pasta) but i suggest that you regularly update your online menu because they are strict vegetarian and were accepting few items from current online menu. also consider adding more vegetarian pasta dishes and regularly offer something like eggplant.

went here the other night very last minute and was pleasantly surprised. i was able to get seated despite it being very busy. my only complaint would be the noise level. there were a few large groups and it became quite loud and sometimes impossible to talk, but of course nothing the restaurant could do about this.

i had the shrimp bisque to start off my meal and it was delicious, especially with the bread and oil that came with the meal.

fordinneri had the scallops with risotto. the scallops and risotto were cooked perfectly. the scallops were not gummy and the risotto was not crunchy, which is surprisingly hard to get at restaurants.

it was an excellent meal and will keep this place in mind for future dinners out.

always hits the spot!. andoras never disappoints. everything is delicious, from lunch to appetizers to soup to the regulardinnermenu and especially the weekend features. i have been going there for years and never have been served a bad meal or received bad service. staff has always been friendly and inviting. i would recommend andoras for any occasion!

my husband and i decided it was such a beautiful evening yesterday that we would go to andora in sewickley fordinneron their outdoor patio. we like to enjoy the alfresco dining at andora. it is such a treasure. the fall evening was beautiful. the waiter, steve, made the evening more enjoyable. andora has such friendly, personable waite staff. i always enjoy going there. i enjoyed my crab cakes and my husband enjoyed his spicy pasta dish. we have been going to andora for many years and i must say it is a restaurant that is consistently good. never a disappointment. keep up the good work.

will be back for more!. andora is one of my top choices of restaurants in the city. i have been going there for years and never tire of the food and friendly service. they continue this tradition in their newer fox chapel and cranberry locations. in the summer the outside areas at each location is beyond compare. it is always a treat to experience a lovely night with a glass of wine, excellent food and friendly service. they always have additional specials to add to their extensive menu. the selections available will please any palate. the warm cobble dessert with ice cream is a great choice to finish the meal. my family and i look forward to enjoying future lunches and dinners at andora. keep up the good work!

love the crabcakes!. i met my friends fordinnerat andora's, sewickley over the weekend to celebrate christmas. although i have eaten at andora's many times and tell myself i will order something new each visit, i almost always order the crabcakes. they are my absolute favorite all the time! and my friends and i split the warm cobbler dessert (what a treat for a cold night). i love the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the servers are always lovely.

can't wait to return!

meal missing ingredients. we went to andora sewickley for a late lunch just before 4pm. the restaurant was nearly empty. it took them several minutes to "get a table ready" for us, even though the tables appeared to all be ready??? by the time we got seated it was just after 4pm, so they said we had to order off thedinnermenu. i believe it was a stall tactic on their part.
i ordered a bow-tie pasta with artichoke & shrimp. it came out without any artichoke!!! how can a restaurant send a meal out with one of the key ingredients missing and no one noticed. very poor quality control!
when the waitress finally returned, i brought it to her attention. she apologized & took 50% off the price of my meal. in my opinion, she should not have charged me for the meal at all. the reason i ordered the dish was for the artichoke in the first place.
it will be awhile before we return to andora sewickley!!!!

very disappointed. i recommended andora to out of town guests remembering excellent experience several years back. we met in the bar, and our poor service experience started with the bartenders, who ignored our entrance despite relatively few patrons. we had to practically beg to be served. fordinnerwe were seated in the outdoor patio (beautiful, by the way). we ordered salads - the caesar salads were mediocre for the price. two of us ordered beef - different cuts, one salmon, and one pasta. the result reminded me of my personal adage, "when in doubt, order pasta, because it's difficult to screw up." both cuts of beef were overcooked, and one was to medium rare. the salmon was as dry as a bone. not sure if the food was really overcooked or just left sitting. we should have returned the lot but didn't want to ruin the overall happy mood of the group. at $50+ per person, andora was a huge disappointment. also, i would suggest more carefully selecting and training servers - ours acted as if she were more comfortable pole dancing than serving food and drink. andora no more!

delicious!. went to andora for a latedinneron a saturday night. the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. we enjoyed the fresh baked bread to start as well as a crab cake appetizer full of fresh chunks of crab, yum! the server was friendly and service was prompt. our main dishes were the fish of the day (kingklipper) that came with shrimp and scallops. all of the seafood was very fresh and cooked perfectly. i had the chicken dish that was paired with a delicious risotto. the portion sizes were quite large. one of our best dining experiences in pittsburgh. we definitely recommend andora, a hidden gem!
