good, not great.. the dripcoffeehere is some of the best i*ve had in calgary, but the espresso is a bit lacking. caffe beano nearby is much cheaper and phi & sebastian*s offers a customer loyalty card ontop of having better espresso. all of the analog pastries are from corbeaux, so it*s actually significantly cheaper to just walk two doors down and grab something at the bakery instead of paying the cafe mark up.

the staff here have personally always been polite to me. however, i have had many friends and coworkers -- some of these people being baristas -- complain that the staff were rude, some of which to the point where people demanded refunds.

bottom line, dripcoffeeis great, espresso drinks are pricey, quality of the staff varies.

this place is absolutely fabulous. thecoffeeis superb. my personal favourite is flat white, thecoffeeratio is perfect. but for a warm day i really enjoy their iced mocha. the atmosphere is laid back nice. not to mention the area it's in is great for a date. with tutti fruity and una right around the corner, i would say i make the best date planner of all time. but nonetheless this is a great place to go.

thecoffeeitself tastes delicious, but i really dislike this establishment for several reasons. i do think it's a bit over priced, but even so, the thing that drives me nuts the most is how they do not display prices for many of the items (particularly the food). i cannot think of any reason why you would do this other than to manipulate customers into paying for an expensive pastry because it feels too awkward to reject it after you've asked for it. i think it's completely dishonest and pretentious. add to this that staff have never been particularly friendly, especially in comparison to othercoffeeshops (i.e. bumpy's, gravity cafe, philosafy, and yes even starbucks), and honestly i'd just rather go somewhere else.

considering the number of people behind the counter, service is slow and awkward. most obscenely expensive double espresso i've ever had.coffeewas ok, but kawa has better service andcoffee3 blocks away.

trying too hard. is it just me or is this place trying a bit too hard to be "hip"? the name--analog--seems a little obvious for hipster espresso (and i don't use the word "hipster" in a derogatory sense at all, here), and the most certainly unused vinyls behind the counter seem just a bit too much. anyway, none of this should have a bearing on how good of a place this is, just my initial thoughts on the feel of the place (and, again, i have no qualms with hipster culture/establishments, but this establishment manages to tick every hipster cliche in the book).

unfortunately, thecoffeeneeds work. i ordered an americano, and the shot looked like it had blonded way too early; the crema was super watery, thin, and white, and lacked that nice creaminess that you should have with a freshly pulled shot. what's more, thecoffeewas a bit bland and "flashy" on the palate; there was an initial nutty flavor followed by absolutely nothing--no nice dark chocolate or berry tones whatsoever.

this place definitely won't unseat cafe beano as the king/queen ofcoffeeon 17th avenue. i'll come back to try a macchiato, but am--so far--pretty unimpressed.

sip on a spiced chai tea and bring a buddy with you! analogcoffeeis great the ambiance is open concept with lots of lighting and the staff are energetic and friendly with a smile that is infectious! parking as with anywhere in the downtown and surrounding region is a bit of a challenge but well worth the warmth in every cup!

we were looking for acoffeespot to hit up before heading back home so i suggested we check out analog coffee. i’ve passed by this place many times while perusing 17th ave but never stepped inside. always plenty of people sitting outside working and people watching. i didn’t realize they have 6 locations across the city now. crazy. we came on a monday afternoon and the place was packed.

it's a trendy and busycoffeeshop.coffeeis very good, people are energetic, have outside area toward the street. i also like their almond croissant. it's difficult to find really good almond croissant in town though.

meh.coffeeis decent and that's about it. i can never ever get a seat in this place as people come in to do work on their laptops and camp out for hours. there are better options in the area and ones that you won't have to sit outside in the cold if you do want to sit down and enjoy your cup of coffee.

wasn't too excited to go here,  seemed like a hipster hangout, since every time i drove by, i see people sitting there with their macs sipping on coffee.  coffee turned out really good,  i was quite pleasantly surprised.   i've been here atleast 20 times this summer, and have never been disappointed.   i only gave this place 4/5 because it's pretty small inside so it's tough to get a seat.  on the plus side though, there's a nice park across the street, if you don't mind the bums that come strolling through.

analogcoffeeon 17th avenue is the flagship cafe of fratello coffee, the famed calgary-based roaster. i love this hipster cafe! we ordered the soy latte, hot chocolate and mocha, which were tasty. besides coffee, analog also offers freshly baked goods including cupcakes, cookies and breads. beware though: seating may be limited because analog is very popular with the crowds. the baristas are very friendly though, and will accommodate your needs.

cute little corner café. very limited seating inside and the outside has some wobbly chairs that almost force you to leave in record time. thecoffeehowever makes up for all that. served as a double espresso unless a single is requested. their service was good and their staff very friendly. prices are reasonably and the interior of the café is very laid back with a modern twist.

absolutely love analogue coffee! it's the perfect spot in the city to meet up for acoffeedate. theircoffeeis really well done - i prefer the single shot, else the taste becomes too burnt and bitter. their service is really quick, and they always make sure to call you by name. only down side are the wobbly chairs and limited seating! but it is a great atmosphere and i will back :)

the most hipster experience in calgary is analogcoffeeon 17th ave, servingcoffeeroasted by fratello roasters. but thankfully that also means, the best coffee. although you can't buy any of the hundreds of records on display, you can savour their delicious v60 pourover, the best you will find in calgary. one plus is they are open til midnight!
