was disappointed. thepizzadidn't have a very flavorful sauce. maybe that's what neapolitanpizzais like? my wife has been to italy and enjoyed thepizzathere. not so much here. atmosphere was good, and all the other reviews seem great. maybe i'll give it another chance.

wow. i went there today and had the il robertopizzaand the herb limonata. thepizzahad the most beautiful fresh taste, like what we had in naples, italy on our honeymoon. the herb limonata is just.. i don't even know. the first sip was confusing--a strange blend of flavors. by the third sip i was pretty much addicted. ridiculously delicious.

if you're attached to super cheesy greasy american style pizza, you probably won't like it. that's not what it is. it's real, wood fired, simple, pure italian deliciousness.

thepizzahere is delicious!! i highly recommend you wait to sit at the roof top especially as the sun is setting. this is a great place for hanging out with friends or a romantic dinner. the prices are about $15 per person so be prepared to splurge.

an enjoyablepizzaexperience. the staff is both helpful and nice being willing and able to answer the questions i asked. it was also nice is they seemed perfectly willing to add or subtract items from the pizzas without fuss and to bring sides without a charge or at least a very small one. i wish they had more then justpizzaitems but they are varied and different that it makes up for the absence of soup or pasta that i felt was not there. they have a really interesting lemonade that i can not say is like anything iv tried before but worth it for the unique taste. i had the quattro formaggi and zia with chicken and found both to be very good the dough and crust is awesome but they can be a bit skimpy on the meat but they don't charge too much for the addition so its not so bad just if you want a meatypizzathis might not be the place for you. the dolce di amore dessert calzones are interesting and worth a try but have an interesting mix of sweet but burnt bread taste as well but not in a bad way. oh and ask about allergies if you have any to spices for instance the amore herb limonata has dill and other herbs in it that i would not have know if i had not asked if the waiter thought it was good or recommended it.

i stopped by for lunch and ordered their hawaiian 505 pizza; i asked for only half with pineapple.

overall, it was okay. i may be a bit picky withpizzain general. the sauce had flavor but i wouldn't say it was flavorful. homemade mozzerella also adds a special touch topizzaand i enjoyed the one served with this one. the italian ham wasn't too distinct from the typical ham served at any otherpizzajoin. i did enjoy the slightly charred crust; definitely wood fired.

service was great.

tastes like italy. when you live in albuquerque finding good italian food can be tough. this place prides themselves on using italian imported ingredients and techniques. you'd think you'd have to pay a premium for the high end ingredients but they keep everything very casual and prices reasonable which means you can come back often!! great food, at an extremely reasonable price and very unique for albuquerque . thepizzayou get here is pretty spot on with what you'd get in italy - minus the plane ticket :-)

i would just like to say this is the bestpizzain abq nothing can even touch it, they make everything fresh not to forget that they hand make all of there cheese and dough. they also have a real neopolitan oven (steffano ferraro). also they have great padio seating that you can see all the way down central from and get a great view of the mountians. they also have great desert pizzas the sweet mascarpone with honey and almonds is good but my favorite is the nutella with strawberries. you should all go check it out.

awesome real pizza!. it's nice to see a pizzeria that actually cares about pizza. this isn'tpizzahut, folks, and that's the point; this ispizzamade the way it's supposed to be made.

the flavor, crust, and everything else is top notch. i don't eat meat, and that didn't matter; i had lots of choices outside simply cheese - and amore will make pizzas vegan friendly!

totally worth it, believe me.

authentic, true pizza. awesome pizza! i'm from ny, and this is the best, most realpizzai've found west of the mississippi! i grew up with italians cooking up the best food on earth, and amore neapolitan pizzeria brings it home to abq.

amore's flavorful crust is absolute perfection, the high-quality sauce made with tomatoes imported from italy is pure goodness (not tarted-up with garlic salt or other cheats), and their fresh mozzarella all combine to create a symphony on the tongue.

some of you may recall the film "eat, pray, love" - the best part being the italian scene with real neapolitan pizza: firm, but soft and alluring. amore's is the real deal, authentic and delicious! check out their beautiful, red-tiled wood-burning oven. and man, does it cook up the pies fast! which is a fine thing when you're hungry and everything smells so good . . . in fact our amore margherita pizzas (the litmus test of pizza) were so completely scrumptious that we had to order a third. a first, in our book.

try to save room after your feast, for one of amore's scrumptious, innovative "dessert calzones." that glorious, versatile dough is a perfect, subtle pillow for decadent fillings. we inhaled the one with chocolate hazelnut filling gently sandwiched between two layers of that heavenly, lightpizzadough, topped with confectioner's sugar and strawberries. we look forward to trying the calzone filled with sweet mascarpone cheese and honey, finished with confectioner's sugar, honey, and almonds. and then there's amore's tiramisu!

amore neapolitan pizzeria is a treat for those of us who are passionate about savoring authenticpizzaand other italian treats, made with the best ingredients, by folks who truly care about their craft, preserving traditions, and creating superb food. we're looking forward to our next visit, and telling our friends about it! thank you :)

this place rocks!!!. this place just keeps getting better and better. the adovadapizzawas out of this world - can't wait till they bring it back again. while i was there and four baseball players came in (one marlins, the other three angels). they learned about amore from the marlin pitcher who was traveling through nm. he loves the place and said he came by amore by accident when he was traveling thru to california (when he pitched for the angels). they took care of him and gave him apizzafor the road as he headed to california. now he makes amore is a regular stop when traveling through abq.
these people care and it shows in the quality of theirpizzaand salads. if you want realpizza(neapolitan) then hit amore - you will not be sorry!
