my wife and i ate here and it was fantastic. i am american and she is vietnamese. i have many. vietnamese friends so i get to try many vietnamese dishes and my wife and i try all the vietnamese restaurants we find and this is by far the best. the atmosphere is normal for a smallrestaurantbut the food is amazing. it tasted like the vietnamese home cooking i am used to. i am not talking about normal home cooking i am talking about family get to get her and show off your cooking skills home cooking. the prices are normal for regular chinese dining but less than or the same as other vietnamese restaurants. just to let you know, vietnamese food takes more prep and cooking time than chinese is why it normally runs higher.

in this case it was worth every penny.

so disappointed. was looking forward to trying thisrestaurantafter all the favorable reviews. we arrived for lunch on a tuesday with one other table being served and one with 5 or 6 people waiting. young waitress was pleasant but spoke almost no english. we ordered and after waiting about 45 minutes i became ill and went to car to lie down and asked my husband to get our meal to go. meal had not been started yet and other table was just getting served. waitress did not understand what "to go" meant so just canceled meal and paid for it and left.

most delicious food!!. i absolutely love the food here! my very favorite dish is the lemongrass chicken. they will make it any degree of spicy you want and the meat is so tender. i also love the beef noodle soup and stir fry beef dishes. honestly, i've never tried any dish i haven't loved. therestaurantappearance is not impressive at all but once you've tried their wonderful dishes, you won't care a bit! i usually get take out and they are very fast. you need to give this place a try- you will get hooked on their food!

best vietnameserestaurantin springfield mo. we saw thisrestaurantwas recently opened and were very interested in trying it out. we have eaten at several vietnamese restaurants in springfield but they are came up a little bit short of what we are used to in minneapolis/st. paul metro in minnesota. but we were pleasantly surprised of the authentic and presentation of the foods at lam tuyen. the taste was good and the price was competitive and affordable. i would eat here again and would recommend others to try it.
