the standards (pho, bun, spring rolls, banh mi) are top notch. they also have original dishes i can wait to try. the s1. banh xeo is the bomb! nobody has it in town. so good!

my wife and i ate here and it was fantastic. i am american and she is vietnamese. i have many. vietnamese friends so i get to try many vietnamese dishes and my wife and i try all the vietnamese restaurants we find and this is by far the best. the atmosphere is normal for a small restaurant but the food is amazing. it tasted like the vietnamese home cooking i am used to. i am not talking about normal home cooking i am talking about family get to get her and show off your cooking skills home cooking. the prices are normal for regular chinese dining but less than or the same as other vietnamese restaurants. just to let you know, vietnamese food takes more prep and cooking time than chinese is why it normally runs higher.

in this case it was worth every penny.

so disappointed. was looking forward to trying this restaurant after all the favorable reviews. we arrived for lunch on a tuesday with one other table being served and one with 5 or 6 people waiting. young waitress was pleasant but spoke almost no english. we ordered and after waiting about 45 minutes i became ill and went to car to lie down and asked my husband to get our meal to go. meal had not been started yet and other table was just getting served. waitress did not understand what "to go" meant so just canceled meal and paid for it and left.

impressive take-out. best vermicelli and beef i've ever had, and i get vermicelli everywhere i go. summer rolls were great, and all the herbs and veggies were fresh and perfectly balanced. they package take-out very carefully and considerately. friendly and accommodating staff.

most delicious food!!. i absolutely love the food here! my very favorite dish is the lemongrass chicken. they will make it any degree of spicy you want and the meat is so tender. i also love the beef noodle soup and stir fry beef dishes. honestly, i've never tried any dish i haven't loved. the restaurant appearance is not impressive at all but once you've tried their wonderful dishes, you won't care a bit! i usually get take out and they are very fast. you need to give this place a try- you will get hooked on their food!

hidden gem. this place is truly a little gem. the food is absolutely delicious and so fresh. the staff is very friendly and courteous. prices are very reasonable too. highly recommend.

beat vietnamese food in town. this was a great dining experience. the food was great. the owners were very friendly and shared some dips that weren't even on the menu. their pride in their food shows. i will definitely go back many times. i would like to go in sometime and just say cook me anything you want. i am sure i wouldn't be disappointed.

best vietnamese restaurant in springfield mo. we saw this restaurant was recently opened and were very interested in trying it out. we have eaten at several vietnamese restaurants in springfield but they are came up a little bit short of what we are used to in minneapolis/st. paul metro in minnesota. but we were pleasantly surprised of the authentic and presentation of the foods at lam tuyen. the taste was good and the price was competitive and affordable. i would eat here again and would recommend others to try it.

great food, slow arrival. i ordered almost 35 minutes ahead of arriving and still waited about 10 minutes more when i got there. they are very friendly and helpful when it comes to finding exactly what you want. the food was delicious - i would go back again, just maybe not on my lunch break!

great food! extensive menu with choices including noodle and rice entrees as well as pho and banh mi sandwiches. the lemongrass chicken with rice was very tasty; friends really liked the pho. loved the egg rolls (appetizer). waiter was very friendly and helpful. will definitely be back to try more dishes!

the food was amazing. i had the bbq beef noodles and the egg rolls. for the price the portions great. the server was knowledgable and had wonderful suggestion if you're new to vietnamese food. give it a try, you won't regret it.
