if i want a beer flight, i come here, end of story. 

i need a 12 step program to wean me off of the garlic vinegar they serve with their skinny fries. really addictive. service has always been great, too, which is nice. all that wrapped up in a comfortable space that's perfect for after work winding-down. good job, alibi room.

i ordered something quite simple off their menu, the pemberton beef burger with fries. the portion was huge and was a lot more appetizing than it looks. they have a great selection of craft beer to accompany their comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.

it's difficult to describe how satisfied we were with our first visit. impressive beer selection goes without saying. to start, we had a surprisingly good salad which came with roasted pumpkin, kale, spinach, homemade rye croutons, bacon, dressed in chipotle sauce (which was delicate and far from overpowering the salad into cheap bar food). for entres, i had the pork tenderloin with polenta, carrot puree, roasted brussels sprouts and kale, topped of with some citrus bits, while my partner had the half roasted game hen with roasted pumpkin slices, turnips, carrots, and smashed potato. the presentation for both dishes was impeccable, while the portions were generous. while i enjoyed my dish, my partner's was one level above and the experience of the game hen and smashed potato was transcendent. the beer i had was the brassneck 'free radical,' which was perfectly complementary with the meal.

beer buffs, rejoice. find yourself in beer heaven with tons of craft beers and drinks to choose from. the list is endless. this is the place to go when you want to hang with your group of friends and have a good time.

this is the second time i've gone here. i find its more like a pub versus a restaurant during dinner time. if you're seated downstairs you would basically order your food at the bar, so no server. this is the second time i've gone here, the first time i had their brunch, and second time i tried their appetizers. there wasn't many much on their menu for entrées except for burgers for dinner time. today, i had their mushroom walnut pate, which was alright. honestly i had more crostini/crackers left than pate. so make sure you don't spoil yourself with the pate or else you will be left with a bunch of crackers without spread. i feel like this would be a great price to have drinks with friends on a friday night, however i didn't check the prices on the drinks or anything.

the beer selection here is huge and overwhelming. they feature tons of different beer from local breweries. i ordered a pumpkin lager style beer from parallel 49th brewing company and really enjoyed it. the beer is available in several different sizes and tasting flights are also available. smoked salmon eggs benedict

best drinking spot in town. they have an amazing craft beer selection, which can seem quite daunting to wade through for an amateur beer enthusiast. but have no fear, their helpful and knowledgeable staff are there to help you choose a beer (or a few) that you will really like. the food isn't bad either, and they have a range of more health conscious meals such as seasonal salads, to pub favourites like burgers and fries. the only downside is the ever massive lineup during peak hours. it's best to avoid the alibi room between 7 and 9:30 pm on most days, because you'll likely be waiting a very long time for a seat.

my first time to visit alibi room in gastown. the pub is quite big that a lot of people can sit, drink and chat after work (like happy hours) or enjoy the time off on the weekend.

the pub has a lot of variety of beer and wine. i didn't know what to drink and try. my boyfriend and i ordered a frat bat - ninkasi haze, brsnk 1trickpo, ninkasi pump and sf jongleur. some of them were bitter, but they tasted good.

the service was alright. we went in the afternoon around 3pm. there was no food (from the kitchen) until 5pm as per the server. the pub opens between 5:30pm and 11pm every day except saturday and sunday that they also open between 10am and 3pm.

most of the people who rated here like this pub as well as one of our german friends who also said this pub was really good. people who love to drink beer should try the beer here.

one of my absolute favourite places in vancouver. their location is amazing, and i love the family style seating. the beer list is absolutely uncanning and any beer lover will go nuts over their frat bats allowing you to sample 4 different brews at a time!

went here for saturday brunch but found out that it's a great spot to enjoy beer for a chill night with friends. there was no line up (12pm), not packed, relaxed atmosphere and attentive server. nice simple brunch: salmon benedict and bacon, fried egg, tomato sandwich. would come back to check out their beer list.

oh man, such a great beer selection! came here last monday night after many recommendations. loved the wide selection of beer, great atmosphere and tasty food.

i got the fries with homemade ketchup and infused vinegar to start. amazing. they've made fries exciting again. i had the beet salad for my entree. it was tasty, but could have used a bit more greens over beets.

my boyfriend had the burger and asked for it pink in the middle. he really enjoyed it. we might try the seasonal options next time

the servers were friendly and knowledgeable. they had great beer recommendations, and even brought us a sample before we ordered a pint. it was a bit slow, but we always had a beer to keep us company while waiting for the food.

great experience here, would definitely return.

i’ve only been here once and i had a great time. i’d heard a lot about this place and was really looking forward to finally going as i’d only heard good things. we had to put our names down and it was about a 40 minute wait hey have a huge beer selection which was awesome and really fun to try out new beers. i wouldn’t say it’s the kind of place where you would go for a rowdy night out as they often had to tell our group to lower our voices, and they don’t allow you to walk around the bar with your beer in hand. i would definitely go there again because the atmosphere was great, maybe with a smaller group so that our noise level meets their standards.

impressive selection of on tap beers, and a tasty burger - safely cooked medium because the beef was ground on site. full and busy, but not too loud for casual conversation.

don't bother with brunch. tried the huevos rancheros. canned beans, still cold, small tortillas and salsa that aren't any better then buying at your local grocery store. save your $12 and buy your ingredients from heinz and que pasa
