a hole in the wall classic.. with little more then six tables in the restaurant, and two outside. al-zaytoun puts out some mighty good food. all the kebabs are juicy and seasoned accordingly. the buffet is agreatdeal, though it can be dependent on your taste and the selections of the day, but they always have kebabs on the buffet as well. my only criticism is the naan which is more the heavy doughy kind as opposed to the indian kind which is thinner and less airy. also can't forget the mint lemonade.

just had the best meal i have ever had in virginia!! everything was so flavorful in every right way! we had lamb, beef, and chicken kabobs, humus, curry potatoes, and the best mint lemonade to top it off!!greatservice, so friendly!

curry can be a hard thing to get right. it is easy to go too hot, it is easy to get a mix of spices that tastes right but makes you regret it later. that isn't a worry here.. the food here is well spiced, and some of the spicier curries will leave your lips tingling, but generally for all but the most sensitive stomachs you'll have no regrets later.greatfood, friendly staff, and good fruit punch and mint lemonade made on site.
