can't believe i didn't know about this place for so long. theserviceis great, and the shisha is pretty good too. they have both outdoor (love the view) and indoor seating. only thing is they are open only till midnight. but during ramadan they are open till 2.00am. will definitely come back and totally recommend it!

my new favourite shisha spot in souq waqif for sure. i had the blue mix shisha and it was great👍. the seats are very comfortable and theservicewas very attentive.

one of the gems of souq waqif. absolutely love the ambience & the food. this lounge is on the 2nd floor of al jomrok hotel.

had their business lunch - qar 49 (without drinks) set menu - starter, main course & dessert

food was very delicious! taste type - local cuisine, lebanese, cafe, mediterranean, middle eastern, arabic

beautiful little lounge with a lovely view. we ordered the assorted cold and hot mezzeh platter which was delicious. every item on it was appetizing. we also ordered the mixed grill and it was all juicy, tender and flavorful. sheesha’s were average though the presentation of the flavors was lovely!

we thought theservicewas slow – it took time to get the waiters attention though he was very personable and pleasant. also the place is a little overpriced for the quantities offered.

visited with a couple of friends over the weekend. we first ordered shisha and drinks, thinking that we’d order dinner after a while but we changed our mind and decided to leave because of how bad theservicewas! the only reason i gave a 2.5 rating is because the shisha was good; would’ve been lower otherwise.

i’ve tried the shish tawook and the kofta kishkash both very good. theserviceis always great. the workers are very nice. the view is amazing so is the shisha. perfect place for summer time they have a nice terrace you can sit with the view of the skyline.

al shurfa arabic restaurant = i had a delicious meal here last night with superb views over the corniche and downtown. theserviceby aymen was fantastic. i highly recommend the mint and lemon juice.... delicious!

i visited al shufra with my sisters andservicewas amazing. we had food as well which was pretty cool and tasty. prices are acceptable and they have a lot of variance of shisha flavors. i am staying in doha for 3 years but i never try ummali tasty that they have. we had a meat wraps and they way of presentation is very nice. i would like to say thank you to chef askat, sher,niayaz and bektur. we had an amazing time.

we were greeted warmly by aymen, who was lovely, he seated us at a low table and bought the menus. he explained all the food to us and left us to choose. to start we chose the cold mezzah plate to share - which was just delightful. six different types of arabic dips including hummus, fresh feta, tabouli, baba ghanoush - all of it so fresh. not what we are used to at home. we then chose the mixed grill - again to share. this was beautiful - grilled lamb chop, chicken kebab, steak kebab, and lamb a kofa. all this was served with roasted vegetables. there was plenty of food and we felt guilty that we didn't finish it all. to drink we had fresh fruit juice cocktails. prices were reasonable, theserviceby all was superb and views were a night time wonder of lights. so if you are looking for truely local cuisine, this is the place to come. thank you aymen, we will return when next in doha.

the sheesha here is amazing ! 2nd fav out of all that ive tried ! i could literally taste lemon in lemon mint,which i mostly don't taste from any other place, blue mix & mint is amazing !

we ordered hummus which came with very soft bread & was quiet good,mix grill was good but not worth the price and very less quantity, karak was delicious , sangria was just ordinary didnt liked it much, lounge breeze was amazing in this heat !

over all was goodserviceis fine ambiance is fine ! the rating is because of the sheesha which i loved !

one of these places you go to for their view and thats about it..
plus points: its not crowded or busy most of the times, you can watch your favorite football team playing on one of their huge screens and enjoy a good sheesha.

the food/drinks: we didnt try much, stuffed vine leaves (lacked lemon and salt) , kebbeh (was okey), cheesecake and dates cake (definitely not the best), turkish coffee with milk (there was somthing wrong with the milk, so thick and yoghurty!! was so bad)

the service: they were welcoming and gave us some blankets coz we were cold, but when we sat on a table that had spilled water on it, he told us to move to another table instead of wiping it ! which we did and they never cared to wipe that other table which we found weird!
our order of one (already displayed) cake and 2 drinks took around half an hour or even more, so its fair to say that it was a slowwwservice:/

i did have an amazing evening in here no doubt. the view was good, the weather was nice and the shisha was indeed good. we ordered shish tawooq which was presented awesomely with grilled potato, mushrooms and zucchini. the garlic sauce was yummy as well.. i liked the hummus which was fresh and tasty and overall the food quality was just awesome.
theservicewas something i would like to comment on. although the staff is very nice, humble and helpful, i din find them very attentive.. they made us wait for quite a bit for the bill which was a little frustrating. i hope they become more vigilant and have the staff members present outside for the ease of the customers.

we come to this restaurant for shisha and tea, the special of the place is the nice terrace and the ability of sitting outside, it's so welcoming and have nice sittings, theserviceis good, but the shisha is not the best. they have nice moroccan tea.
