a new marketplace in mesa, branch of the phoenix based baiz market. stocks up all middle eastern foods. thisrestaurantis a treat for anyone who loves lebanese.

its within the market so not much of an ambience but the taste is amazingly spot on. the tabbouleh salad is moist and delicious, the falafel perfect, hummus and tahini delectable. the banaganuj or babaghanoush is also very tasty. we always take back hordes of food served with warm pita bread. you can even buy injera in the market.

coming to the sweets, the baklava is an addiction.. once you eat it you want more.. i have eaten other baklavas but this one takes the cake. i did not like the turkish delight  however.

overall rather than going to pita jungle.. head here... may not have an ambience but the food is marvelous

best falafel in phoenix. my daughter found this phoenix gem. the littlerestaurantis inside a well-stocked middle eastern market and has the best falafel, chicken shwarma and hummus in phoenix. it beat mazza in salt lake, too, according to my daughter, and she said that would never happen. this little market andrestaurantbring us hope for the global future of phoenix. the falafel sandwich is work of art - highly recommended.
