a new marketplace in mesa, branch of the phoenix based baiz market. stocks up all middle eastern foods. this restaurant is a treat for anyone who loves lebanese.
its within the market so not much of an ambience but the taste is amazingly spot on. the tabbouleh salad is moist and delicious, the falafel perfect, hummus and tahini delectable. the banaganuj or babaghanoush is also very tasty. we always take back hordes offoodserved with warm pita bread. you can even buy injera in the market.
coming to the sweets, the baklava is an addiction.. once you eat it you want more.. i have eaten other baklavas but this one takes the cake. i did not like the turkish delight however.
overall rather than going to pita jungle.. head here... may not have an ambience but thefoodis marvelous
