phenomenal! best hibachi i've ever had hands down.. my boyfriend and i were looking for a place to eat one night. we got to akira at 9:50,,,they close at 10:00. they happily accepted us and put on the whole hibachi show just for us. we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. and the food...let me tell you! i'm not a hibachi fan, the rice is usually too salty, the veggies are not that great, i don't eat steak or chicken, so it's not an ideal eatery for me. i ordered the salmon, and my boyfriend got the filet mignon and shrimp. it was the best shrimp i've had, the fried rice (which the waitress recommended, thankfully) was phenomenal, my salmon was perfect and my guys steak melted in his mouth. do yourself a favor, and check this place out. i've been to several hibachi restaurants, because the kids love the show, and every time i moan and whine(inwardly) about it. it has been 5 days since we went and we are bringing our boy there tonight. the service was excellent and thefoodwas the best. so happy they took us in at 10 mins to close and treated us like stars! ozzie, the chef, was great!
