most authentic sushi experience in the triad. if you are looking for the real deal, authentic sushi experience, then look no further. akashi is the place to go for great, reasonably priced sushi and japanese cuisine. and no, i don't mean hibachi cooking. you will findgreatdishes like katsu don, udon, and many others, all made with love and care. the sushi chef is super friendly and always gives us a litle extra sushi on the house since we are longtime customers. he goes out of his way to make you feel at home. also of note, i love the japanese kitsch that serves as the restaurant decor (shin chan comics, etc). you will not be dissapointed with akashi.
