awesome red snapper. last night to celebrate my soon to be home buying, i treated myself to a wonderful meal... which was superb, the service the best... love this place, since i used to live in peru when i was a boy, long time ago (60 years ago). haven't had food from this country this good since i left!

another guest will be coming back!. this past thursday, we took a new couple with us to have dinner. no reservation, or much was said, but we encouraged out guests to ask, listen, sample, and try some of the finestperuvianfood they've ever/never tasted. they did, and in hal's case, his sight is gone... so he has to rely on answers to his questions to learn and make decisions... which our waitress did so very patiently. the dinner was superb!! our guests said they would definitely be coming back, and of course so will i! i've never had a guest be dissapointed, and that's saying something.... way to go to gorge and his daughters and crew...what a fine dinning experience you dish out...both in service, hospitality, and superb food!!

another great meal/lunch!. i was out after running errands and church yesterday, and had again the opportunity and appetite to stop by... very busy, yet the staff and service were very hospitable. prices are very good, and my desert of the vanilla flan was superb.... not to mention my super tasty and well portioned entre! jorge is a great chef/owner, and his family doing the service are the best! love the place, whether your there by yourself, or with a large gathering of 10! i was one, saw 3 large tables of in excess of 10. all were very pleased! again, thanks for a fine time!

wonderful food and sercice. well, as i said, i was returning with a large gathering of my family and friends. we had 10 for dinner, and we all said the same as we left w/some carry home leftovers: wonderful time, great food/seasonings, and the service was the same. will be going back often, and also for more lunches: jorge is a great chef/owner, and his staff work their tails off!! all success in the future!

super good family restaurant. i lived in peru for 2 years, 60 years ago. i've always wanted to return, and maybe someday i will. in the meantime, since i live here in sw florida, aji limon is my way of reconnecting to the wonderful food i remember as a boy... in fact, it's so good, i'm taking a party of 12 there tomorrow night!!

nice place!!! but ceviches are missing theperuviantaste. i was quite disappointed with the vuelve a la vida that i ordered. zero aji amarillo which is theperuviantaste. the rest of the food is okay. if you have been in a authenticperuvianrestaurant you will find that something is missing in these plates.

overall excellent food and great service.. we went to ahi limon for lunch and overall really enjoyed the experience.
for all three of us it was our first visit. we arrived shortly after noon on what turned out to be a very busy day. for the next ninety minutes or so a constant stream of couples and large families arrived. we felt quite fortunate to have gotten a table inside as most were forced to go to the outdoor courtyard to eat or wait for a table inside.
regardless we were greeted almost immediately and seated very quickly at the last available table.
our server was extremely friendly, professional and attentive (i'm afraid i've forgotten her name) and the decor is quite very attractive. the photos of the food around the ceiling are a little unusual but to us, new toperuvianfood, very helpful.
we told our server this was to be our first experience withperuvianfood and from then on she, and every other server, would stop by our table to show us the food they were about to deliver to other diners. it was an especially thoughtful touch considering how busy everyone was.
the beef heart skewer was the only disappointment, while flavorful they were quite tough and therefore very chewy and difficult to eat. the ceviche however was very fresh, tender and, as we requested, quite spicy. the black bean tacu tacu with grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious.
the dessert case looked interesting and our server very patiently described the choices and also mention that freshly madeperuviandonuts were available. we ordered a slice of cake (our server brought over a photo to show us theperuvianfruit featured in the cake) and an order of the donuts. both were ridiculously delicious and, when the bill came, only $4.00 each!
we were very pleased with our whole experience and can't wait to go back!!

greatperuvianrestaurant !!!. i went there with some friends and we wanted to try some seafood. the waiter recommended the 3 mares, which includes jalea, ceviche mixto, and arroz con mariscos; and it was amazing. we are definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

yuck!. i have a sincere love forperuviancuisine - it is a delicious change from any other type of food you can usually find. i went to aji limon about 3 weeks ago for lunch and had the worst pollo a la brasa (roasted chicken) ever. the meal took over an hour to come out and the chicken looked, and tasted, as if it was from two days ago warmed up. it was incredibly dry and rubbery. i asked for some extra aji to help choke it down, because i was starving and at that point i didn't have much time left for lunch. the waitress lied to me, saying they didn't have more aji. right after that, another waitress brought out some conchita with a side of aji for another patron. needless to say, she received no tip and aji limon will not receive any of my business again. there is a much better, authenticperuvianrestaurant nearby on del prado blvd (el patio ii) that serves way better food. aji limon is trashy!

great flavors. tasty, spicy, huge portions, unique are few of the words that come to mind after eating here. it has a very friendly staff. i must say i don't have much experiance withperuvianfood, but i sort of expected bland food. it wasn't, it reminded me of cajun or something. i'll be back!!!!!!!!

really good!. we stopped for lunch and we're so happy we did! it was our 1st time forperuvianfood, and our server was so helpful. she explained the dishes and the sauces and we were extremely happy with our meals. we especially enjoyed the roasted (fried) corn that comes to the table. they have a $4.99 lunch special, and the selection was impressive. i couldn't decide on the "sides", so our server suggested i order the tacu-tacu --so satisfyingly yummy! mixed grill was flavorful and fresh-tasting. we'll be back!

kudos from a peruvian. went to aji limon tonight with a client who is originally from peru and now lives in chicago. a friend of his had recommended it and i'm glad he did. i knew nothing aboutperuviancuisine so let him order for both of us. a delicious ceviche and several other dishes (none of which i know the names of, but all of which were excellent). the staff was very friendly and the owner stopped by more than once to see how we were enjoying the meal. extremely fresh seafood, all levels of spiciness and a delicious dessert. it was all i could do to waddle out of there. will definately go back and recommend to anyone looking for a new experience. it's quite a treat to go out to eat nowadays and feel like you got your money's worth with good service to boot!
