excellent restaurant. this is by far the best peruvian restaurant not only in the state of florida but also in the country. it is really clean, great quality food, great friendly service and best of all the prices are very reasonable.
i recommend to everyone from all backgrounds.

awesome red snapper. last night to celebrate my soon to be home buying, i treated myself to a wonderful meal... which was superb, the service the best... love this place, since i used to live in peru when i was a boy, long time ago (60 years ago). haven't had food from this country this good since i left!

another guest will be coming back!. this past thursday, we took a new couple with us to have dinner. no reservation, or much was said, but we encouraged out guests to ask, listen, sample, and try some of the finest peruvian food they've ever/never tasted. they did, and in hal's case, his sight is gone... so he has to rely on answers to his questions to learn and make decisions... which our waitress did so very patiently. the dinner was superb!! our guests said they would definitely be coming back, and of course so will i! i've never had a guest be dissapointed, and that's saying something.... way to go to gorge and his daughters and crew...what a fine dinning experience you dish out...both in service, hospitality, and superb food!!

another great meal/lunch!. i was out after running errands and church yesterday, and had again the opportunity and appetite to stop by... very busy, yet the staff and service were very hospitable. prices are very good, and my desert of the vanilla flan was superb.... not to mention my super tasty and well portioned entre! jorge is a great chef/owner, and his family doing the service are the best! love the place, whether your there by yourself, or with a large gathering of 10! i was one, saw 3 large tables of in excess of 10. all were very pleased! again, thanks for a fine time!

wonderful food and sercice. well, as i said, i was returning with a large gathering of my family and friends. we had 10 for dinner, and we all said the same as we left w/some carry home leftovers: wonderful time, great food/seasonings, and the service was the same. will be going back often, and also for more lunches: jorge is a great chef/owner, and his staff work their tails off!! all success in the future!

super good family restaurant. i lived in peru for 2 years, 60 years ago. i've always wanted to return, and maybe someday i will. in the meantime, since i live here in sw florida, aji limon is my way of reconnecting to the wonderful food i remember as a boy... in fact, it's so good, i'm taking a party of 12 there tomorrow night!!

my husband and i went there for his birthday for something different.  i ordered the fish and seafood on top for 14.99, got charged 15.99 for it after i told them the seafood on top was very tough, so that wasn't cool.  the fish below the seafood on top was okay.  as for my husbands dish it was very over seasoned and tasted awful, he ordered the beef and it was so over seasoned- ugh. be careful when ordering the seafood on top of the fish, the one small squid i got was pretty good but everything else on top besides the shrimp was very tough and the muscles are not what your used too very fishy and have fur in them, do not recommend unless thats you culture. the fried corn and dip is awesome, probably the only reason i would go back is for the fried corn and dip, and i will probably just find a store to buy the corn.  sincerely locals of "the cape"

nice place!!! but ceviches are missing the peruvian taste. i was quite disappointed with the vuelve a la vida that i ordered. zero aji amarillo which is the peruvian taste. the rest of the food is okay. if you have been in a authentic peruvian restaurant you will find that something is missing in these plates.

new location vs. original. food was good as usual but the staff was very inattentive and even with the new location full some just stood around staring into space.

overall excellent food and great service.. we went to ahi limon for lunch and overall really enjoyed the experience.
for all three of us it was our first visit. we arrived shortly after noon on what turned out to be a very busy day. for the next ninety minutes or so a constant stream of couples and large families arrived. we felt quite fortunate to have gotten a table inside as most were forced to go to the outdoor courtyard to eat or wait for a table inside.
regardless we were greeted almost immediately and seated very quickly at the last available table.
our server was extremely friendly, professional and attentive (i'm afraid i've forgotten her name) and the decor is quite very attractive. the photos of the food around the ceiling are a little unusual but to us, new to peruvian food, very helpful.
we told our server this was to be our first experience with peruvian food and from then on she, and every other server, would stop by our table to show us the food they were about to deliver to other diners. it was an especially thoughtful touch considering how busy everyone was.
the beef heart skewer was the only disappointment, while flavorful they were quite tough and therefore very chewy and difficult to eat. the ceviche however was very fresh, tender and, as we requested, quite spicy. the black bean tacu tacu with grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious.
the dessert case looked interesting and our server very patiently described the choices and also mention that freshly made peruvian donuts were available. we ordered a slice of cake (our server brought over a photo to show us the peruvian fruit featured in the cake) and an order of the donuts. both were ridiculously delicious and, when the bill came, only $4.00 each!
we were very pleased with our whole experience and can't wait to go back!!
