aji limon peruvian restaurant

great peruvian restaurant !!!. i went there with some friends and we wanted to try some seafood. the waiter recommended the 3 mares, which includes jalea, ceviche mixto, and arroz con mariscos; and it was amazing. we are definitely coming back to try the other dishes.

yuck!. i have a sincere love for peruvian cuisine - it is a delicious change from any other type of food you can usually find. i went to aji limon about 3 weeks ago for lunch and had the worst pollo a la brasa (roasted chicken) ever. the meal took over an hour to come out and the chicken looked, and tasted, as if it was from two days ago warmed up. it was incredibly dry and rubbery. i asked for some extra aji to help choke it down, because i was starving and at that point i didn't have much time left for lunch. the waitress lied to me, saying they didn't have more aji. right after that, another waitress brought out some conchita with a side of aji for another patron. needless to say, she received no tip and aji limon will not receive any of my business again. there is a much better, authentic peruvian restaurant nearby on del prado blvd (el patio ii) that serves way better food. aji limon is trashy!

being vegan and eating out is sometimes a challenge, but not at aji limon! renato, our server was so helpful and the food was outstanding! my husband (an omnivore) loved his steak and is still smiling!

great flavors. tasty, spicy, huge portions, unique are few of the words that come to mind after eating here. it has a very friendly staff. i must say i don't have much experiance with peruvian food, but i sort of expected bland food. it wasn't, it reminded me of cajun or something. i'll be back!!!!!!!!

excellent food and service. we had the tres mares (ceviche, fried seafood and peruvian paella) and the anticuchos de corazon (beef heart skewers)...both were delicious and flavorful. we will definitely be back.

unbelievablely good food, great price and friendly staff! if only this place was in ohio. but every time i'm on vacation i will be here!

really good!. we stopped for lunch and we're so happy we did! it was our 1st time for peruvian food, and our server was so helpful. she explained the dishes and the sauces and we were extremely happy with our meals. we especially enjoyed the roasted (fried) corn that comes to the table. they have a $4.99 lunch special, and the selection was impressive. i couldn't decide on the "sides", so our server suggested i order the tacu-tacu --so satisfyingly yummy! mixed grill was flavorful and fresh-tasting. we'll be back!

once more come back to this litle restaurant to eat the best peruvian food in souht west, the ceviche mix (shrimp, octopus ,squid and fish cooked in lime juice), lomo saltado (terderloin sautee) ,the best any were.

awesome restaurant. my fiance and i ate their for the first time saturday night. the food was outstanding. we started with the papa a la huancaina, first time we had it and it was great. my fiance had the seafood paella, it was a little different then the paella's we have trined in the past, but it was still very good. tons of seafood, enough for 2 people. i have the seafood soup, there was every kind of seafood you could imagine. both items had shrimp, scallops, octopuss, mussels, calamari and the soup had crab and fish. they both were large enough to split, but for the price, why worry. the staff was super freindly and very helpful. the restaurant is kind of small, but either way this one is a go for us. we will definitely go back and try some of their other great menu items.

kudos from a peruvian. went to aji limon tonight with a client who is originally from peru and now lives in chicago. a friend of his had recommended it and i'm glad he did. i knew nothing about peruvian cuisine so let him order for both of us. a delicious ceviche and several other dishes (none of which i know the names of, but all of which were excellent). the staff was very friendly and the owner stopped by more than once to see how we were enjoying the meal. extremely fresh seafood, all levels of spiciness and a delicious dessert. it was all i could do to waddle out of there. will definately go back and recommend to anyone looking for a new experience. it's quite a treat to go out to eat nowadays and feel like you got your money's worth with good service to boot!

amazing food!. i had an amazing dinner today! i had recently heard a few of my friends talk about this place but i had no idea i would be so delighted. the food is full of flavor and you can taste how fresh everything is.
the staff was really friendly and told us which dishes were typical in peru.
we are deffinitely looking forward to our next time dining at aji limon.

the picarones (peruvian donuts) for dessert are thr best. this restaurant makes some of the best food in town. ive never had a bad meal

if u r looking for something different and arent familiar with peruvian food then u simply have to come to aji limon in cape coral! they make the best pollo a la brasa (rottisserie chicken ) outside of peru...yummi!!!

i am new to peruvian food, but i can say, with much certainty, that they have something to please everyone. a good variety of meals, large portions, very fresh, and served by a wonderful staff. my wife and i loved it and can't wait to go back.
