anniversarydinnerbest ever. our 2year wedding anniversary spectacular! we had the mussel app, which had an amazing spicey broth. the brulee goat cheese with agrodulce topping was perfectly creamy. the lamb shank served over the most spectacular polenta, it was to die for! the short ribs over a mushroom risotto that was packed with flavor. and the bourbon vanilla gelato was packed with vanilla flavor and the hint of bourbon set it over the top! i can't say enough about how amazing, fresh and delightful the food is here. this has become our go to spot for celebrations as we know we will always have spectacular service, and the most amazing farm to table fresh food. eat live and be well.

exquisitely prepared celebration for two!. we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with a romantic weekend in downtown tucson. ourdinnerat augustin was one of the highlights! the menu was creative and varied, the preparation and presentation were superlative, and the service was a perfect balance of welcoming and intimate. the attention given to providing guests with gluten-free options was deeply appreciated and enabled us to dine without our usual concerns of gluten contamination (i have celiac disease and cannot digest gluten from wheat, which can make dining out a challenge).
the atmosphere at augustin's is cool and hip yet elegant and tasteful at the same time. the staff is very well educated regarding the menu and wine list and are very helpful making various selections. the signature drinks from the bar are especially inventive and were a real treat. the live band located in the mercado courtyard the evening we visited played a perfect mix of jazz and big band classics that set a romantic tone without being invasive. this evening was absolutely an exemplary culinary high point for us in a 25-year-long marriage marked by many outstanding meals at restaurants in new york city and europe. if you are in tucson and seeking a "special" evening out,dinnerat augustin's is not to be missed!! indulge your pallet and savor this experience!!

excellent. have been there a couple of time fordinnerincluding christmas eve. always great. am going this sunday for brunch for the 1st time. i sure it will also be outstanding.
