one of the original craft beer pubs in dublin, what against the grain do, they do very very well. it’s by no means a fancy sport but the bar staff are passionate about beer and happy to talk you through all the options - perfect for craft beer novices and experts alike. the food is understated but not to be missed, classic pub grub with really decent portions. there’s always a reallynicemix of locals and visitors giving the bar a good buzz. the sausage sandwich menu is overflowing with choice - i’d recommend the traditional with chunky chips.
