had heard a lot of hype about this place so decided to give it a shot. we were welcomed by a welcome drink and a classic savoury betal leaf platter. it had a some groundnuts, ginger, chillis, onions, lime and coconut. typical in the thai scene, it was quite refreshing. started off with a tom yum prawn soup. the soup was delicious and the broth was very well made. the flavour were perfect.
next, we ordered their absolute thai combo which had sone spring rolls, money bags, tempura prawns and fish cakes. the fish cake was quite disappointing to be honest and was bland. the other three starters were pretty decent.
the main course was phad khimao flat noodles along with a phad bai krapi. the noodles were nice and fresh and the chicken well cooked. nothing too great but nothin bad about the dish as well
finally for our dessert, we had tub tim grod, i.e the water chestnuts in coconut milk, a thai staple and khao niew mamauns, the sticky rice but with a blueberry flavouring as opposed to the mango in the menu, another thai classic. the desserts were fantastic. not overly sweet. the rice was perfectly cooked and had a beautiful texture . we enjoyed the desserts
