came for sunday brunch. the wait was about half hour as it's a tinyplacethat seats 10-15 at capacity. lattes are pretty standard but the crepes are the real deal. made fresh to order. i literally saw the chef cut my strawberries and melt my chocolate. large enough to share if you're not starving. recommend for a nice weekend girls' brunch.

what a surprizingly nice cozyplaceto have a bite, lunch or coffee. omar, the owner is such a wonderful host. food is nice and prices are very reasonable. the gluten free options are pretty tasty. will definitely visit again!

i can't recommend thisplacehighly enough!  although they are justifiably known for their desserts, for example sweet crepes...  they also serve amazing - and enormous - savory crepes, both regular wheat flour ones and truly kickass gallettes de sarrazin (delicious all-buckwheat crepes) for the gluten intolerant or anyone else who adores buckwheat crepes!  they have a variety of fillings ranging from smoked salmon to chicken breast and pesto and many other choices. including stuff for vegetarians as well as a vegan menu - truly something for everyone.  a wonderful spot for either a very reasonably priced lunch or early dinner. if you have room after a crepe (and that will be difficult, as they are very filling!)  the creme brulee is beyond fantastic and of course they have a huge selection of home made chocolates. you can also get callebaut hot chocolate which will blow you away.  the only mild complaint is the decor but it's kind of charming in a visiting your maiden aunt's kind of way.  a recent change of ownership has done nothing to dampen my enthusiasm for the place. go! you will not be disappointed.

thisplaceis great! i always bring my wife, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming :) the chef clearly puts so much care and thought into everything he makes and the food is excellent!! best hot chocolate i've ever had in my life !!! this is a #1 ottawa destination for sure

my friends and i enjoyed this cozyplacefor dessert last night. although they were low on chocolate and out of marshmallows for the chocolate fondue, the server did his best to accommodate. and it was good.

always a fantastic time when coming to this quaint spot in the heart of wellington village. when walking in the door one is always greeted with a welcoming hello. thisplacecan get busy at times and is not huge so you can expect a wait on the weekends.

expect to find your own seat and grab a menu and once ready to order go up to the kitchen and get your name in line.

the food is exceptional and are truly some of the best crapes i have had anywhere in the city, full of fresh ingredients. highly recommend this spot to even the pickiest foodie!

this is a wonderfulplaceto go on a first date! the atmosphere is cosy and warm and the crepe are amazing! the only thing is that their chai lattes are not sweet so add sugar and you'll be good! i highly recommend this place!

comfy, cozy, chocolately. a thing for chocolate located on wellington west is the bestplaceto go if you love crêpes and you love chocolate for breakfast.

there was one chef and one server. upon walking in, the chef beckoned us inside and invited us to seat ourselves. theplaceis the first story of a medium-sized town house and can seat 20 quite comfortably. we arrived by bike, but there is street parking around the area....

better than cocoa 70. i've been going here for a year, going probably a total of 30 times, and not once have i been disappointed. the service is wonderful, the atmosphere is calming and the food is delicious. if you want something added our taken out of a crepe, all you have to do is ask and they will make sure your needs are fulfilled. the crepes are a very good size, i usually split a savoury crepe and a desert crepe with my friend when i go, and i always leave the restaurant full. if you ask for the crepes split for two they will pre split it and bring it on two separate plates for you unless it's a very chocolatey crepe that would run. after a few visits the owner, omar will recognize you and always greet you with a warm welcome. the quality and service of this restaurant is much better than cocoa 70, i would recommend thisplaceto anyone and i am confident that you would not regret making a visit to this wonderful restaurant.

to meet your food tastes/ we both had veggie crepes but i added an egg and my wife chicken/ fun to watch omar make your meal/
tasty and very flavourful/ nice accompanying salad/ but the highlight for me was the dessert. oh my god it was great/

a superb birthday experience. for my birthday, i decided to gather friends and family at a thing for chocolate. it's a smallish café, but the owner was able to accommodate all of us for the evening. the group ordered a mixture of savoury and dessert crèpes, beverages, treats and even took home some products (such as buckwheat flour). none of them had ever been there before and most felt that it was a nice find - and were very pleased with their experience. i couldn't have asked for a nicer birthday experience: the staff was super friendly and the service was pitch-perfect.

as for the food, i wasn't sure where to begin, because there is a good amount of variety. i eventually had the pulled pork crèpe because it has beets in it and i was curious to see what that combination would be like. i loved it. i then split the sweet english and the week's special, a banana-dulce de leche crepe. i very much preferred the latter but both were quite yummy. i took home a death by chocolate brownie and a triple chocolate-cranberry scone. i don't even like scones or cranberries by it was delicious. and the brownie? yum! :)

it's well worth checking out. it's a nice, quiet, cozyplacewith excellent food and friendly faces.

lovely food, great owner. had the cordon bleu savoury crepe, the creme brulee, the chocolate tart, the hot chocolate and the little chocolate balls... basically we ate a lot. every single thing was amazing. best crepe i've ever had. the owner, omar has such a beautiful spirit. his attitude definitely adds to the lovely atmosphere. the reviewers weren't joking when they said thisplacewas great.

awesome!. i've been to thisplacetwice since i found it and can't wait to go again! the food is delicious. each ingredient is chosen with care. the atmosphere is laid-back. i tried their asparagus crepe and their classic crepe. both were excellent. i also tried a dessert crepe: chocolate with bananas, strawberries, and berries with a dark chocolate drizzle. yummy. yummy. yummy. (they use a high-quality fair-trade chocolate.) i'm going back today for breakfast!
