unfortunately for a night in india, it has a moderately unappealing location between a main road, a dingy chinese restaurant and a post office. on the plus side however, it has an impressive menu selection of meat, vegetarian and seafoodcurriesand a range of sides and drinks to match. the service was polite and our food came out quickly; i ordered a lamb pumpkin halva with a cheese and garlic naan and was pleasantly surprised with the result. the curry was smooth and had a full flavour while the naan had a perfect amount of spice, definitely one of the bettercurriesi’ve had. however, at $20 to $25, the prices are a bit steeper than expected for an indian takeaway so one must face the inevitable question of quality versus quantity, with a night in india favouring the former.
