dying to go back already. we went here after it was recommended to us by loads of our friends and it certainly didn't disappoint. 
they only take bookings for parties of 6 or more, so we chanced our arm one friday evening. we popped our name down and they told us to come back in about an hour and a half which suited us perfectly.
let me tell you worth the wait, we ordered a few tostados and taquitos to share and then had a main. the flavours are out of this world, best mexican i have been to in dublin by far.
on recommendation from the waitress we ordered the special of the day as a main john dory tacos and it was gorgeous.
we probably ordered too much food and next time would probably just stick with sharing more bits. 
staff are great too!

honestly can't get enough of this place ! mexican is one of my favourite types of food and this place never disappoints ! been here a good few times and always get the margaritas they are to die for . the menu is constantly changing so there's always something new to try ! on sundays they have loads of dishes for €7 which is a great deal. very cool inside and the staff are so friendly . never had a bad meal here.

great vibe, tasty colorful food and wonderful margueritas!

i went with a group of co-worker for a team outing and this a great place to do it.
we chose the dinner "family style" tasting menu which is a great option for a group. i've to be back to try the pig's head carnitas and the asada de carne which looked great!!!

on the tasting menu i'd say that everything was very good, with special emphasis to the beef ennegredico, the papas fritas and the mushrooms tacos that were absolute delicious.

the margueritas (as far as i remember...hahah) were really delicious as well.

the down side is this place is a bit pricey (specially if you start drinking margueritas...)

777 is a great place, perfect for a dinner with colleagues! the margueritas were very good and all the food the came to the table was fantastic. we ended up getting a tasting menu, so it was like a feast. the colors and flavors just hit the spot. good job on the desserts as well, loved the bread and butter pudding.

i would give it a 4.5, but i found it a little bit too pricey, though it was great!

cool spot twist on mexican food. all dishes are 7.77 on a sunday as are their cocktails! it's a little expensive if it isn't a sunday though. cons: they don't take bookings for small parties unfortunately and the music is loud if you wanted to bring kids etc. but if you're looking for a hungover sunday brunch spot this place is perfect!

i came here for 777 sundays and wasn't disappointed! they don't take bookings but put your name a list and call you so there can be a bit of a wait, especially later in the evening or with a bigger group. we were two, so managed to get seated at the bar straight away which was fab. the atmosphere is fun and the music is great, and loud! we ordered from the sunday menu of dishes and select cocktails for €7.77. our waiter was lovely and pointed out his favourites from the menu. we got 4 dishes to share between us which was a perfect amount of food. the fish tacos were my favourite, perfectly battered, light and crispy fish with avocado and lemon - yum. the potato skins are a must as well, with guac and cream cheese - a bit bold and perfect for curing the sunday blues. the cocktails were lovely - their take on the bloody mary is unusual and really cool - spicy which chorizo and a quail egg on top! almost like starter in itself. they were quick to bring us the bill as soon as we weren't ordering as it was really busy and they wanted our seats. overall fun mexican with really cool funky decor and a party atmosphere.

we’re so disappointed. family dinner planned while visiting ireland. 777 cancelled our reservation even though we confirmed within 53 minutes of our receiving the email confirming the day before. the manager said “we are very busy and get many phone calls”. amazing. no pride in her work and no attention to detail for patrons. if you plan a special event, be cautious. i actually never write reviews but their lack of accountability led us to scramble for another table to another nice restaurant willing to take us on short notice.

went to 777 for a dinner on a tuesday. decided to try the tacos as it was taco tuesday and wasn't disappointed! good quality-price. also tryied the ginger beer, very good. i'll definitely go back.

i have never been treated so rudely by front of house staff in all my life. we arrived on time and were asked to wait 15 minutes beside the service area, which we agreed. an extra member had joined our party so i asked if there was any allowances that could have been made. but was told brashly that 777 is too busy and they would not sit the extra person. rather then leave our friend out we decided to go somewhere else. while leaving the staff member who had been brash towards us followed us out causing a scene saying we would have to pay for the table and that we were being rude. from what i have heard the food here is really good, but i am sad to say i will never be back.

a little gem in the heart of dublin city! bit expensive but worth every penny couldnt move after the feed i had .. and the cocktails are very good! good little vibe with music playing as you eat .. a good spot to have food and drinks before you hit town . 😄

you might as well right a cheque with €777.00 already filled in to eat in this place. and it will be worth every penny. probably a bit harsh as they do a special menu on tuesdays and sundays for people who aren't clearly dealing in illicit goods on the sides to suppliment their income. come for the tacos and stay for frozen margaritas! guilty

went here on a friday evening and having heard alot about it i was excited to try it. it's quiet small and seating is limited. we sat at the counter/bar. no complaints about the food it's very tasty and flavoursome. the sides were also delicious and the highlight for me was the corn which delicious. definitely a place to try and more suited to a group than date night.

came with the idea that this is the best mexican in dublin and is better than taco taco. it slightly didn't reach my expectations. however the food was still really great and amazing value. we came on 'taco tuesday' where we could get 2 tacos for €4! they are usually priced at 3 tacos for €12 so this was a great deal! we also got the pollo polito dish as well as tacos between us. the chickens was delicious, cooked perfectly and there was plenty for sharing for just €20! a very cheap meal for such great quality food. the place fills up pretty quick as it's very small. the music is very loud so when it fills up with people it gets even louder. the staff were brilliant!

visited on st. patrick's day, it was my second time here and the first time i didn't think it was wonderful, mainly it was because i found the portions small and the price high. on st. patrick's day and every sunday all dishes and some cocktails are €7.77 which make it very reasonable.

the buzz in the restaurant is excellent, you absolutely forget that you are in the middle of the city with frosted glass and new york style interior. the staff are really fantastic, so attentive and reactive. it's only a small thing but i just think that it's brilliant that they always have your water glass topped up. they are great with helping you order the right amount. we ordered 5 things to share between 2 the chilli bowl, the cod baja, the plantain, the shaksura and the burgers. they were all wonderful, especially the shaksura.

we ordered 2 cocktails each both paddy slap, lovely and fresh.

the bill was just under 70 euro which i though was great value! i will definitely be back, probably on a sunday 😄😄

myself and my friend came here on a wednesday night and we decided on the €20 per person deal- a plate of ribs, salad, corn on the cob, tacos and two margaritas. the food was absolutely amazing! the tacos included in the deal that night were tuna tacos, an option which i normally wouldn't go for but i have to say it was so delicious. the margharitas were strong, but perfect! the only slight downside was that only groups of 3 or more are seated at the tables, pairs of 2 are seated at the bar.
there are various other deals on during weekdays, like margharita mondays and taco tuesday's. i'm already looking forward to my next visit!
