the caffeine junkie in me was more than happy to see manual brewing methods on the menu. you can go for an aeropress, or try out the v60. i personally like a bolder cup, so i went for the latter. we also got to choose from two kinds of beans—ethiopia and the espresso blend. i was actually disappointed with my coffee as it was too light (chose ethiopia, v60); i also didn't really care very much for my friends' choice of brew (espresso v60 and aeropress). maybe it's just due to a personal preference. i laud their desserts, though! for thesweettooth, the crack pie is heaven and goes really well with your coffee. the milky way was also good.
the coziness of the place is a winner. it was a rainy day, and it felt like the perfect little nook to read a book or just chill. will definitely be back to try the cold brew and other selections.
