i'm in love with this place! it felt like a retreat away from my busy life. a cappuccino plus a full american breakfast in the afternoon was a break i've been searching from the hurried life in the city. beautiful interior design, a different perspective of the city.

on the cappuccino taste test, it has a "not so subtle" acidity on each sip. i'm into the bolder, richer (or even bitter) side of coffee with aroma and notes lingering a few seconds longer, still, the cappuccino almost hit the spot.

there's always a time for first time! didn't know that there such a thing as coconut cold brew and we gave it a try. our verdict? 👍👍

we paired this discovery with on-fleek avocado toast which is seasonal and we're glad we scored an awesome dish. now we can relate with our foreign friends why they are very much into it.

the crack pie is dangerously addicting. it's ooey goey sweet and salry filling matches the crumbly crust of oats and cookies. this is inspired by nyc's milk bar. it is best to enjoy with black.

happy tuesday!

small cafe. cute set up.
coffee was decent, however, skim and full cream milk options only.
limited menu but excited to see avocado on toast as an option!
nice place for decent coffee in cebu.

the caffeine junkie in me was more than happy to see manual brewing methods on the menu. you can go for an aeropress, or try out the v60. i personally like a bolder cup, so i went for the latter. we also got to choose from two kinds of beans—ethiopia and the espresso blend. i was actually disappointed with my coffee as it was too light (chose ethiopia, v60); i also didn't really care very much for my friends' choice of brew (espresso v60 and aeropress). maybe it's just due to a personal preference. i laud their desserts, though! for the sweet tooth, the crack pie is heaven and goes really well with your coffee. the milky way was also good.

the coziness of the place is a winner. it was a rainy day, and it felt like the perfect little nook to read a book or just chill. will definitely be back to try the cold brew and other selections.

as i've passed the street of archbishop reyes lahug, i noticed a new cafe called 32 umber. it looked intriguing to me about how the interior looked like in a glance. 32 umber cafe & co. i gave this place a visit after my stressful busy schedule. i ordered a cafe macchiato and baked mac. the coffee is great and the baked mac is satisfying. their food selections are also not the usual or common like you see in many cafes.

i specifically went to this cafe for their affogato since i'm a connoisseur of this italian drink. presentation was nice but when i initially tried their espresso, it was too bitter and not a lot of crema on top. i was okay with the vanilla ice cream, it was the espresso that i was slightly disappointed.
i also ordered their inception cookie. it's a pretzel within a dark peanut butter cookie. it's soft and sweet. great with hot coffee.
the place is rather small but good interior. there are only 4 tables inside.

passed this place so many times already but it was only last night that i was able to come here. anyway, we only made a quick stop here as we had somewhere else to go to. we had their matcha nutella cookie, and i had hot choco. i like the cookie, aside from the nutella in the middle, it was not so sweet. hot choco was nice too. downside is they don't have wifi. also the nearest bathroom is not so near at all - it's located on the second floor.

everybody raves on the matcha. but for specialty coffee lovers out there, they serve coffee on v60 and aeropress. one of the few (more like rare) cafès that serve cold brew, too! no wifi connection though.

i had the matcha strawberry cake and it was the best slice of cake i have had in a while! flavors were so harmonious and the textures of the cake layers and cream were light and heavenly, i had no guilt on my diet!
