we will not go back!. after a long day, we took four people who have never been to 13 coins. we have totally enjoyed the food, service and ambience for the past 20 years. this time we decided not to go back. the server did not speak unless we specifically asked a question. the food was lower quality, cold and not as presented. the server should have disclossed the dish was 'hot and spicey'. the portion size has dwindled and the prices increased! the restaurant was not busy and yet the wait was long and the food not presented well. the server passed plates around rather than setting them in front of each person!

a big disappointment when we wanted to introduce new people to the 13 coins experience we previously enjoyed. while walking out there were four receptionists and no one said thank you!

no need to say more . . .

traveling in seattle i ended up at 13 coins for breakfast. typically i steer clear of 24-hour restaurants. but i was pleasantly surprised. the warm decor was inviting and the food was equally satisfying. the fabulous menu was so interesting that i had to order several entrees to sample them all. i ordered the frittata, crepes with seasonal berries, french toast, and belgian waffle. the food was served hot, was excellent quality and the presentation was thoughtful. and the service was great. surprisingly, the coffee was a little weak, but that is a preference issue. however, being in seattle, i assumed otherwise. great experience.

we were staying in tukwila and decided to try it out after a heavy day of drinking at a mariners/jays game. we arrived at 12:45 pm and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait but we were seated sooner in the lounge are when it opened up.

we ordered the crab eggs benedict and the duck bacon burger and they were delicious! the crab eggs benedict stole the show for me though.

the hollandaise was to die for with a nice lemony tang. they were generous with the crab meat and the hash browns were shredded thinly and were crispy. eggs were cooked to perfection, poached softly with the whites completely cooked. probably ranks in the top two benedicts i’ve had in my life!

we will definitely be back for the amazing food and friendly service!

i have never had worse service. my family has been coming here now for four generation, my aunt used to sing and play piano here 4 generations ago. today my father and i were seated at the bar, the wait staff wasn’t told we were being seated so i asked a waiter “excuse me could we get a waiter were ready to order” and the waitress said “yeah sure she’s over there” and pointed behind me. so i waited till she was done with her current party and said “excuse me we’re ready to order, thanks” and she said “oh i didn’t even know you were there” so we explained we didn’t want calamari steak in any form, and she said okay well we have crispy calamari, the food finally came and it was sliced calamari steak. we said we didn’t want that and asked them to take it back. the waitress said “this isn’t calamari steak it’s crispy calamari” in the rudest most belittling tone then proceeded to tell us that we were wrong with the worst tone. extremely disrespectful. my father got the manager to talk, and after the three of them were having a meeting the waitress had the audacity to call me rude for telling her i was ready to order. as of today they have lost 4 generations of family business hey and we will not be returning and i hope the waitress that had the attitude with us today either gets more training or looses her job, because with such a wonderful restaurant she has completely ruined it and does not deserve to work in such a nice place.

service in the bar was lackluster and dismissive. the food is overrated for the prices. i've tried and tried to give this location a chance. i always heard the seatac location was the best. not!! i'm a local and will be going to denny's or dave's diner before i ever go back to 13 coins. i don't know why, but everyone seems so underwhelmed with their job at this location. too bad. so easy for me to stop in on my way home. it won't happen again.

food was less than marginal, ordered coconut prawns and they were definitely not prawns, the shrimp were about the size of a half dollar butterflied! the sauce had a left over dish soap taste, service was pleasant, but knew that food was not going to be up to par!

i have been to this place many times and have to admits that the food and service has been top notch as always. conveniently located and the plus point being that it is open 24x7. food and drinks have always been good and service has been acceptable.
bit noisy inside though. parking can be a nightmare - so come prepared to park far away.

would not recommend this establishment for any large parties. this establishment refused to accommodate a party of 20 so that they would not disrupt their regulars.

their huge menu has a lot to offer: i suspect that may be their problem too, too big a menu.

i ordered the "sausage joe": i got sausage (tasty), spinach and other undefined veggies sisters nicely, put in a mound on a plate, and just buried is grated parmesan cheese. so much of it in fact that i lost interest in the dish half way through it.

oh well: should have just stuck to my original plan of ordering some apps for dinner instead.

wait staff are slow and unresponsive this evening.

it's a american restaurant that's open for 24 hours. conveniently located across the seatac airport. they do have a wide selection of entrées to choose from, but everything i've tried, there was no flavor. staff is usually slow. you can hear the cooks constantly argue and breaking dishes. people come here to relax after a days worth of traveling, but the restaurant makes it difficult to dine in peace.

pretty good food, but a little pricey - the crab cakes were great, wine was good, steak was average ... i would come here again, but i would probably try something different than the steak next time.

we went for breakfast before flying out of seatac & thought there was was a fun, retro feeling to the restaurant. one of us had a monte cristo sandwich which was more like french toast with ham & cheese, but it was delicious. the other meal was a turkey meatloaf sandwich. it was good too. the service was attentive & capable. we would certainly return.

my husband and i are passing through seattle on our way to anchorage. we were recommended this place by our hotel concierge. it was ok -- nothing to write home about. we ordered crab eggs benedict and salmon eggs benedict and both dishes were very bland. salmon was grossly overcooked and our hashbrowns were lukewarm, at best. considering we spent almost $50 on breakfast, i would have liked to see this place step it up a couple notches; however, our server was quite friendly, and our food came to us quickly.
