visited on a saturday night around 10 pm in june of 2018. we were 4 of us and we didn't have an issue getting seated. i'd not recommend it for a large group sit-in. i'd heard high praises about thiswafflejoint and i'd say it didn't disappoint. add belgian chocolate to yourwaffleand feel the chocolate coveredwafflemelt in your mouth, it's magical.

must try:
waffles with belgian chocolates and any fruit which you like.

thewafflewhich was of the soft variety (not the crunchy type) was covered in strawberry jam. i also ordered whipped cream as a side. all washed down with hot chocolate. thewafflewas brilliant. the texture was amazing. thoroughly enjoyed it. but the hot chocolate was too light for my taste. it tasted like a children's energy drink with too much milk. nice relaxed seating with a view of a harvard chapel and its elaborate glass window across the road. i read part of my poetry book there which i picked up from grolier before. overall memorable experience

every food enthusiast will have one favorite dish which they can eat anywhere and anytime. waffle is my favorite dish and the first search on zomato i make whenever i travel to a new city is "best waffles". to my rescue, zomato had a collection named "wonderful waffles". located on massachusetts avenue is this quaint little place perfect for awaffledate. " best belgian waffles made by actual belgians" is quite a big claim to make. well at the end of 45 mins, i could say that the waffles were certainly the best belgian waffles i've had.
a simplified menu just adds more to the simplicity of this place. we ordered the zinneken's and the dame blanche with ice-cream. everything stood out from the hackneyed waffles you have; serving on a metal plate, covered with belgian chocolate and cream on the side, you will crave for more with every bite.
it's a must for everyone who loves waffles and even if you don't like, you'll start after visiting this place.

best liege and brussels waffles in boston ! small cafe bakery located 2 blocks away from harvard square serving waffles and excellent tea/coffee. make sure you try the speculoos spread on top of thewaffle(called biscoff here in the us). the liegewaffleis made from a dough with encrusted pearl of sugar (soft and chewy). the brussels is made from a batter and is light and crispy. two very different style !

5/5 for this one. hands-down, best waffles i've ever had. i ordered the sin (which is their simplest one with banana and nutella) with the brusselswaffleand it was delicious. just perfect. filling for a good while. my friends ordered strawberry glamor and oreo freakin' party. both were just as delicious and it's really hard to say which is the bestwaffle- it really depends on the individual's taste. even their smoothies were good. this restaurant has my heart.

the list ofwaffletoppings they offer is extensive. the one you see above is the gourmand – topped with banananas and caramel, and a side of whipped cream. light and fluffy on the inside, hot and crunchy on the outside. when it was over, i cried.

there isn't a single filipino restaurant in boston or cambridge, but there are at least two places where you can obtain belgium liã¨ge waffles ! i previously ate at saus , located near fanueil hall , enjoying their liã¨gewafflewith a salted caramel sauce and i now have tried the version at zinneken's in harvard square, with caramel, bananas and whipped cream (pictured above). the zenne is a river that flows through brussels in belgium, and which has largely been covered over within the city. in the middle ages, the stray dogs that used to congregate near the river became known as zenneke or zinneke . over time, the term zinneke started to refer to " someone of mixed origins ," reflecting the cosmopolitan nature of the residents. though we often refer to "belgium waffle" as if it were a singular entity, there are actually a few different types of waffles in belgium, including brussels, liã¨ge and stroopwafel . most breakfast joints that serve belgium waffles serve what would be

i ordered the sin. thewaffleitself is nice and toasty, with a slight caramelization from the pearl sugar. while i admit that i wished there was a little bit more nutella (yes, it might be sweetness overkill, but… have we met?) every little bit of that hazelnut spread makes me happy, especially when paired with some carbs. especially when paired with bananas.
