yazu - pan asian beach club

hugely disappointed as this was nothing like the mumbai yazu (one of our favourite restaurants). we were recommended the yazu special chicken and it was chewy and just like a basic fried crispy chicken. the pad thai noodles were also just average. ambience was nice but food was quite average.
also they refused to give us a table outdoors as it was reserved for the larger groups which had not yet arrived when we were leaving about 2 hrs later.

great ambience, excellent food, pathetic service! that in a nutshell describes our experience at yazu. chose this place for my anniversary dinner, in part because of the cuisine and the location. both did not disappoint. but what ruined our evening was the server’s poor attitude. i usually don’t like calling out people but this server named pushkar really needs a crash course in interacting with the guests. had a frown on his face while taking orders. didn’t bother telling us which plate of food was being served, since we had ordered multiple dishes. would ignore us while we tried getting his attention to place the order. i could go on about this but the fact is, when you are paying a premium at any restaurant, you expect everything, from service to food to be too notch. yazu failed us here. the 2 stars in the review is for the food!

what a great place!!! had a super amazing time here in evening right beside the beach and kudos to their amazing staff, also not to forget they serve amazing drinks and food. must visit when in candolim, you will not be disappointed 😊

the usher pranita by name was very rude to us. very unwelcoming. we came there to have a special evening but were treated very badly.

we had a absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant. even though the food was good, the service was horrible. we came her to have an experience it was tured into a horrible experience because of the service. we had ordered more than 12 dishes between 4 people but all the dishes were bought at once. we were hardly finished with our appetizers the main courses were piled on. there was hardly any space on the table but we had to constantly adjust ourselves accommodate everything and when asked the server replied “sir you should have ordered less in that case.when brought to the notice of the manager he was extremely rude and unprofessional. the server was also very unaccommodating. we were served wrong dishes because of of tardiness. overall a very disappointing experience service wise.

it's a really pretty place if you're just looking to take photos or chill. but i would not recommend this place for food. over-priced for average food.
a few things on the menu are brilliant like the smoked salmon sushi. but most things are quite frankly very average like any of the dim sum (i tried two different ones are they weren't great) or the thai chicken satay which again was just average. considering the prices, i'm not sure it was worth it.

the hostess is terrible. when we entered i told her i wanted a table outside because of covid (the tables inside are very close together and seat 4 to 6 people.)
she laughed and said - covid is over. i'm actually quite shocked at the ignorance and attitude of a professional from the hospitality industry.
they also had fully empty tables near the beach and sea which they refused to move us to as those were saved for group bookings for groups that never arrived btw.
we had a reservation and despite this were seated at the bar. we were offered a chair to sit on with a ledge as a table at some point.. i honestly don't even know what to say.

the bartenders are really nice though. they were polite and quite helpful. the drinks are good as well.

definitely wouldn't go back or recommend this place overall though. the overall experience isn't too great.

yazu goa is definitely one of the best place located beachside to try out asian food.
i personally loved the dumplings and mushroom bao here
both the dishes were nicely presented and tasted too good

had been to yazu mumbai couple of times, since we visited goa 2 weeks vack decided to pay a visit at the goa branch
and i must say it was a delightful experience for us!

location of this place just beautiful! dining besides the beach was just amazing experience. i loved the food here which is just inexplicable. loved the truffle mushroom dumplings, edamame dumplings and spicy kimchi fried rice. everything is just up to the mark and it was a fantastic experience for us.

we got a terrible table inspite of having a prior reservation. there were empty tables but the hostess said they were for a large group of 20. 35 mins later also that large group had not arrived. after asking for a better table we were told a table was being cleaned for us. another group occupied that table. the hostess had no explanation for her behaviour. she must be fired by the management. worst goa restaurant experience ever in the last 15 years of regular goa holidays

had an amazing time here! enjoyed the beach vibes while having dinner. ambiance is just eyesoothinh! totally loved the food here. just inexplicable! mushroom dumplings, crystal dumplings and chak hao rice these dishes were superb!

dining by the beach was an just amazing experience for us! it's a perfect place for a date. ambiance is eye soothing and vibes here will just uplift your mood. some of the best dishes here were truffle edamame dumplings, crispy pan fried gyoza and spicy kimchi fried rice. everything was super delicious and upto the mark. service was superb and hospitality here surely deserves an appreciation.

recently visited this place. it was indeed an amazing experience here. they follow each and every safety measure to ensure total safety while dining. i loved the food here. truffle mushroom dumplings, wild mushroom stir fry and red thai curry. everything was upto the mark and fantastic in taste. definately coming back here

had heard alot about this place from friends, so we visited here a month ago before lockdown
what a lovely place with lovely vibes!!

one can definitely enjoy their meal beachside with a glass of wine along!

yazu has been one of the finest place for asian food. i've visited this place many a times and this place turns out to impress me all the time. ambiance is just alluring and you'll surely enjoy dining here by the beach side. staff is extremely helpful and gave us the best recommendation to us! we tried some dumplings, sushis and chak hao rice. everything was just amazing!! definately coming back here again.
