this place is in candolim inside marques beach resort. we visited it for our dinner on a monday night. it was already fully occupied when we arrived and we had to wait around 10-15 minutes to get a table. special mention to sayyed who was the manager there, he took care of everything and was really helpful.
the restaurant is located on the candolim beach with shacks and table all over the place. the music was also great. coming to the cuisine this place serves chinese, japanese and asian cuisine. we had the following dishes and drinks-
cocktails-
yazu margarita
oriental sour
both the cocktails had their distinct taste with some different takes on the classic cocktails. you can go for both of them but we liked the oriental slur more.
appetizers-
chicken shumai dimsum- we took the 4 piece option. the dumplings were open faced with chicken and mushroom filling inside. we loved it and had it with the sauces they gave us.
prawns tempura with creamy salmon uramaki- this was the dish which was suggested to us and it turned out just wonderful and we enjoyed it. recommended!
butter garlic sichuan prawns- the prawns were tiger prawns and the butter garlic sauce with sichuan emulsion just took our heart away. recommended!
mains-
chef's signature spicy ramen noodles- we took it with chicken and egg option. we expected it to be watery but it was the on the drier side. nonetheless the taste was there and the quantity was also quite good.
desert-
warm apple crumble- this was the best way to end our day. it was served with vanilla bean gelato and dulce de leche sauce on the side which complimented it in every way.
so in the end it was a great night with some great vibes, music and some top notch food.
