excellent happy hour food menu. drink specials during happy hour aren’t the cheapest in town by any means but still reasonable. i had buffalo wings ($6, hotter than usual but delicious and crispy) and a california roll ($7). the california roll was probably the most delicious thing i’ve eaten during my trip to waikiki!

great place for great food and also the biggest beer collection on the island for your par taking needs. the last thing i had there was the lamb burger that was cooked perfectly and if you are just looking for apps you will also find a great selection.

we ended up here as a result of finishing a sunset cruise and finding some new friends. we were invited along for dinner.
a bit of a wait. 45min. as the place was doing a roaring trade. the service was surprisingly good for the amount of people present. the selection of beers was great and was delivered in a very prompt time after ordering.
the wife and i shared the chicken nachos with sour cream and guacamole on the side,, it was very tasty, hot and fresh. i like the fact that they still got the parts on the side. size was too big for two of us though.
again couldn't fault the service, waiter ensured we were always right for drinks and any orders that were required.
even supplied 2 little cup cakes when they found out had 2 birthday boys at the table.
great night.

this was amazing! there were two of us and we got seated straight away. the server was lovely and all the staff were really nice. the food was amazing, i got the chicken nachos for $7ish and it was enough for lunch and dinner. my friend got the pasta was really good also, over all an awesome experience :) highly recommend!

the name of this place was enough to peak my interest. i would soon learn that it represented the length of their popular drinking vessels, or at least half of it. they offered beers by the half yard, served in their specialty custom glasses: elongated pints with wide tops and rounded bottoms; but more on that later.

my final hawaii food post - only because i feel obligated to write about every place we ate, especially if i have photos. for dinner on our first full day in hi, we went to a chain restaurant: yard house. i'd been to one in las vegas and remembered it being fine. we did make a reservation, probably a good thing because around 6 pm it was very crowded with a lot of people waiting for a table. even with a reservation we had to wait a bit. we were seated in a gigantic booth. i wasn't too thrilled because a booth is never terribly convenient for someone in a wheelchair and also because it was big enough for 6-8 people and it was just the two of us.

we usually sit at the bar and don't have to wait for a table. it is very friendly and comfortable and the full menu is available. the cobb salad is huge and really good. the wine choice is really good as are the cocktails. and of course the beer selection is awesome. it is busy and noisy but you can still have a conversation easily enough. staff are great too at the bar.

food was as expected been too many but restrooms were very dirty leading me too think this chain is declined. next time o will check for clean before i eat. also tacos were served without sauce and beans were northern refried or pinto. not as good as i expected from a place i go to often in other cities.

incredible beer selection! i tried something called big rod coconut something...,really good! and i didn't tire of it like some flavored beers. menu has a great selection of apps and entrees of all types. sure to satisfy every taste. great service!

service and atmosphere of this place is really nice. was seated outside and had very nice views of the eye. great location. very vast menu and very very big drink menu. food was very nice but very indulgent.

incapable/unwilling to accommodate larger parties. called weeks in advance to make a reservation for 15. called days in advance to alert the restaurant that we were coming. called a few hours in advance and was told more than half of party would have to be present to even be placed on the waiting list. well guess what, we all showed up and were told that there was a 2 hour wait not to mention that our party of 15 would be divided up into four tables in different parts of the restaurant. instead of allowing the yard house to further embarrass me and ruin my birthday dinner we took our business elsewhere. i will not be back.

fantastic we had apps and sat at the bar. killer beer selection and awesome bar tending. we had the tacos, ahi sashimi, and garlic mushroom pasta. all apps and all top notch!!!

we saw this place as we were walking to the hotel, and when i checked it on zomato it had a 4.7 rating! so that was it, we were having dinner there. i ordered the chopped salad and the nachos platter, and my husband ordered the cheeseburger. the service was terrible as it was so busy! the chopped salad was mainly green onions and the dressing was too oily. the nachos platter was a huge disappointment, we actually could not continue it. the salsa was pretty much tomato paste with beans in it. it took them ages to bring us sour cream, and by the time it landed on our table the nachos and cheese were cold. the burger was nothing special really.

they have a gardein menu!! so so delicious. and so excited to have a vegetarian and vegan option at a popular spot. very happy with the service and food.

132 beers on tap. enough said. wide variety of food options and great service from bar staff and servers. bar tenders and servers all had great knowledge of the menu and offered great advice. the beer tasting offered before purchasing was also a nice surprise. would definitely recommend.
