yard house

loved it! sat on the upper deck. our waiter was very accommodating, knowledgable about the menu and had a great personality. we ordered the lobster garlic noodles and lived it. definitely would go back again!

i like yard house i just wish i had better service. the food here is very good, i would categorize it as gourmet bar food. they have a wonderful beer selection, a favorite of mine is the honey blond, and the restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. the food is small portioned but very good. i enjoy the fish tacos and any of their huge burgers. a bit pricy but i would defiantly say it is worth it. every now and then the wait staff is less than desirable. i asked once if the truffle fires used real truffle oil or imitation (which was the case) and the waitress responded with "great i have bobby freaking flay at my table" it would have been funny but she was rather rude the rest of the night, to the point that i asked for another waitress. that aside, i would highly recommend, just don't order the truffle fries unless you want perfumed oil on them.

went for the first time as my surprise birthday dinner! the food is classic and good (and priced appropriately considering it is in river park). what i enjoyed overall was the ambiance and decor of the restaurant...that just sealed it! if you are or know any beer lovers, you have to check out their gigantic selection, as my husband describes it, "a bit of beer royalty!"

cold food. i was looking forward to this place but i have to say it's one of the worst meals i've had in years. the food was cold and the entrée was a joke. the description didn't even come close to what was served.

great happy hour! very very very wide variety of beers on tap. favorite place to go and try new beers. the sliders are fabulous! can get very busy in the evenings.

what a alcohol selection! this place won't disappoint. service was fabulous especially as we were dining with 2 toddlers. they gave them colouring pencils, paper immediately and their order off the kids menu came out very fast. the vege pasta was delish (was very garlicky which i love!), hubby had the enchilada stack which he said was really tasty. meals were value for money.

this place was great. we hit this restaurant up right before happy hour ended at 5:30 and got a tasty spicy chicken pizza, an onion tower, and chicken lettuce wraps. it was all half price including the 100 beers on tap, watch out for the mix drinks though, we ordered two think they would 3-4 bucks and those jokers came out being $10 a pop. our waiters name was scott, super helpful, and even gave us some extra lettuce for our wraps to take home.

service was good, but the food was not worth the cost. i ordered a ham & pineapple pizza and ended up with barely any cheese or sauce and five pieces of pineapple on half the pizza. it was very bland andfelt like i was eating just bread. my husbands pasta dish was also unimpressive. great selection of beer, but not the food.

came here for lunch. had a lemonade which was okay. ordered the cheese sandwich with bisque. the tomato soup/bisque was pretty well done with basil and chunks of tomato. however the sandwich was really oily/buttery from outside.

super family friendly place. my children were given puzzles and crayons on entry so they could doodle away whilst waiting for our food to arrive. we just had a light bite to check the place out. we ordered poke nachos, buffalo wings, smores chocolate brownie and a sample trio of mini chocolate soufflé, creme brûlée and apple and peach cobbler. everything was delicious (regular buffalo wings were ludicrously hot though, which is not what i expected) apart from the smores chocolate brownie that was far too dry by itself. also the guava juices were the best my children have had. great selection of beer and good rock tunes in the background too. we'll definitely be going back.

i've always liked the yard house. their hummus and beer choices always being me back. the only downfall of this place is the super touristy location.
