in one word: excellent
its a small cafe (hidden gem) inlakkarbazaar, but it is the best place for foodies.
we have tried multiple dishes and each one has been par excellence.
the fav for me is the ramen.
my fav dessert would be chocochip pancakes.
portion sizes are quite adequate.
ambience is good given the small place.
considering the quality and variety, the prices are very competitive.
kudos
keep up the quality and we hope to be back next vacation

a really nice and warm place at the centre of thelakkarbazar. each and every item here is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. the servers are nice and the owner always looking after the comfort of the diners. it is a must visit place when in shimla.
don't forget to order their coffee, burgers, ramen, and pasta.

walking through the narrow and obstreperous streets oflakkarbazaar, i came across a homey and comfortable cafe named 'wood street cafe'. the caucasian styled exteriors of this cafe unquestionably stood out compared to the environment around it. from the very intricate details of the door to the festive decorations on the windows, the cafe gave a calming sense of home. i was greeted with bright smiles that cheered up my day.
the menu itself gave me various options to choose from. the pancakes, the hand beaten coffee and the hot chocolate of this place got me coming here two days in a row. the delectable chocolate syrup and the well made pancakes are definitely a once in a life time taste. the hand beaten coffee and the succulent hot chocolate on the other hand, left me wanting to have more. one of the elements that really stood out in this cafe was the enjoyable music that played. if you go to shimla and don't go to this place, you will truly lose out on a pleasurable experience. so carry your coats and head over to the endearing 'woodstreet cafe'. it'll feel more like europe than europe itself!
