wok in the park

worth the wok in the park. i have dined in and gotten take out and have been pleased both times. our waiter recommended the steak 'n chips and while i am pretty sure it sent me to nutrition hell, it was worth the price - amazing! appetizer-wise, the crab rangoon were great. when we dined in, we got a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers and 3 entrees and with a 20% tip it came out to $40 a person which was very reasonable for the quality of food and service. highly recommended!

best kung pao chicken/mock duck ever! they are okay with all kinds of substitutions, next time i just need to ask them to make my entree sans 'flame'...even my one flame dish had my lips burning and my nose running! their daily special wontons are the best i've had. the flavor this time was cherry and sauteed onion. portions were very generous and we had another meal worth of take home. go eat at this place!!!

shocked! .... at how good this place was! i went there with my step sister, and we were surprised, considering how small it was, how good it was. the food came out timely between each other, and the entrees were delicious.

we ordered the 3-trio app, and were expecting small portions of the wontons, wings, and egg rolls, but it was well worth it, and so yummy! a huge plus - the egg rolls weren't just fried up cabbage inside a rice roll. it was nice to have some variety. the entrees were yummy - i got the sassy basil - definitely a recommendation if you like some spice, and my sister got the black bean stir fry - again yummy. definitely will be returning!

wonderful! if you go on a weekend (friday or saturday night), be prepared to wait for a bit, but it is worth the wait!! the place is small and cozy so turnover could be slow, but like i said, it's worth the wait! food is delicious and service is great, definitely a gem!!! i was annoyed to see someone very frustrated with her wait time... all i could think was, " look around, they are busy!!!"

pleasant surprise. was there about a week ago and was pleasantly surprised.
food was amazing from the chicken wings, wontons and to the main dishes.
flavors were perfectly blended and fresh. only complaint is well i can't find one with witp..

one wok was enough at this park restaurant. we had very high expectations for witp, but were sadly disappointed tonight. we had a special risotto, that just ended up being an indistinguishable mess of brown mush. the highly touted "wok puffs" were so-so but, quite large and hard to get an even amount of cheese and puff. sesame chicken, how can you screw this up?, completely lacked any flavor and was very soggy. to top it all off, we paid $40 for this mess, and as cliche as it sounds...1 hour later and we're still hungry and unsatisfied.

so good! everything tasted so fresh and delicious! a few things were a bit on the spicy side, but they are so good at warning you about that and very accomodating. beautiful little gem of a restaurant - too bad its so small.

new favorite local restaurant. loved it! food was excellent, the portions were ample and the service was great! i was extremely impressed with their understanding of gluten allergies and their ability to alter recipes and ingredients to accommodate. also, it was very reasonably priced. absolutely loved the food!

try the slayer stir fry!!!

wonderful experience. there are already so many good reviews for wok in the park that i can't add anything new. they have their act together.

the best. i finally found the chicken & potatoes that i used to eat at the old august moon restaraunt and they are great! the staff here is also really friendly and the place is clean and very nice ambience!
i will be back again and again and again!!

value, service and gluten free. wok in the park is a hip yet comfortable restaurant. the food was very fresh and flavorful and the portions quite large. service was good even though the restaurant was packed - two large birthday parties going on sat. night. the wait staff was very friendly and helpful...and as an added bonus they did a nice rendition of "happy birthday"!

the food is fantastic! the atmosphere is pleasant. the staff is phenomenal!! the price is great and the food portions are generous. we eat at wok usually once a week. the sweet and sour chicken is heavenly!

love the vibe!. i call the cuisine at wok in the park "high vibrational food". tasty, creative yet inexpensive fare with made-from-scratch asian sauces with no msg! yum! and the saturday night jazz makes it even more chill. check out the 4-part happy birthday croonings of the "vontrapp family" singers. not only do chef jacob and his three sisters provide warm, friendly service-- they harmonize!

slayer stir fry. the vegetables and meat were cooked fantastically - a little rubbery on the mushrooms - and the dragon sauce is delicious beyond belief. i highly recommend it.

love the wok!!!. we began the night with appetizers and being the careful chooser, since it was my first night, i stuck with potstickers. my friends got oyster wings, calamari, and spring rolls. let me just say that all were amazing! there were fantastic flavors that came out in every bite. the calamari was done perfectly - it was not rubbery at all. the potstickers were fantastic and the sauces for our appetizers were something you could almost have on its own.

i ordered the slayer stir fri after deciding between many different entrees. fantastic choice. with every bite i was savoring the flavors brought out in the sauce. a bit spicier than i intended, it was a fantastic meal. i would say the only problem i had was the chewy mushrooms but still, everything was just fantastic.

its a hard place to find but when you do, you will enjoy a meal no matter what you choose off the menu. everything is fantastic and they really know how to infuse flavors into the food to make you "die" with every bite. you have to come out and try this place.
