ok i guess. the drinks are pricey. the decor is dark but if you see the walls they are dirty.

this place is very deceiving. not only it is overpriced but if you don't like what you are served they don't care, you still have to pay for it. my 6 year old daughter did not like their watery, overcooked mac and cheese. i informed the waiter and asked to swap it for fries so she can eat something. his response was it is policy not to take anything off check. the manager came over and after being told situation offered no resolution and said we would still have to pay for food. (poor management skills) my daughter left restaurant without eating after i paid a high bill. beware there is no good customer service! food is as is. better to go to a restaurant that caters to customers being happy. this place does not care. not kid friendly at all.

terrible customer service!! the place is really cool but the service staff has to go !! rude rude and rude incredibly poor service. you can't enjoy your experience with this type of customer service. it is truly a shame! the wait staff needs to be replaced asap. horrible experience will not be back and from the other reviews i can see that people enjoy the ambiance but the service needs to definitely improve.

this is one of my favorite local chill spots. the atmosphere is unique, cozy and is a great place to go to change things up. their menu offers tons of vegan options from lunch items to desserts and drinks. this is a great place to visit with friends for a little bite and some conversation. the whole vibe is very laid back, relaxed and casual. i recommend for anyone looking for not-the-average lunch/dessert spot.

excelent cake variety, nice decoration and amazing attention. this is a very nice alternative for a sweet tooth escape, the only thing to keep in mind is that they don't accept anything else but cash.

loved it. first time there today...was with my 7 year old and 2. month old...waitress super sweet!! wish i got her name, she had some green hair, that's all i can remember....she sat us at a great spot with a couch and two small tables so i was able to lay my two month old down and she was super comfy..when the baby did cry, the waitress couldn't have been sweeter about it!!
the decor was awesome...shabby chic, very eclectic, lots to look at, my 7 year old loved it...
menu a lil overwhelming...delish cappuccino, delish soda float, fresh mozz sandwich and brownie sundae...fresh hot pretzels we sooooomgood!
will def return...never found out if they have wine or not..next time sans kids i will ask

my favorite place. this is by far my favorite place on long island. the atmosphere is incredible and so are their teas. they have this amazing decor thats so beyond different from the places i'm used to going. the lights at night give it this amazing feel along with the candle light. their desserts are fantastic and i have this obsession with their quesadillas. i go all the time. in fact i'm going tonight :)

i've been going here for years and i've always enjoyed the food and drinks. the vibe is strange but fun.

great affordable tea by the pot, wide variety. scones are delicious, enormous, and reasonably priced. desserts are pricey. atmosphere is laid back and chill. fun place to spend a intimate night with some friends.

love their chocolate pecan pie! yum! great coffee drinks too :)

love this place!!!. i went here with me and ma girlfriends and it was a blast!! the teas were awesome!!!!!! woohoooooooooooo heck ya!!11!1!!

great tea and treats, less impressive coffee. the decor is dark but not dirty. the restroom is a bit gothic but clean. the cookies and biscotti and scones are killer, there's a very large tea selection, which is a huge upside. the espresso has no crema atop it and is a bit more bitter than i'm used to, coffees served in tall glass instead of a mug which looks cute and shows off the "layered" effects of the beverage, but it's a bit unwieldy to drink because since the hot coffee beverage is in a glass, you have to use the handle to drink it - and the handle isn't very big.

summary - if you want a really good treat or brownie or snack or sweet beverage or tea, go here. if you want delicious coffee, you might be let down. if you want a fun place to study with a halloween-esque atmosphere, this is it. however, don't count on power outlets being available.

memories. i used to go to this place all the time growing up & when i was in college. i recently went back and not too much has not changed in my mind. i remember the store upstairs and lots of events going on there.

i love getting their fresh brewed teas and stealing a piece of my husband's brownie topped with peanut butter. plus they have lots of soy options which is great for my best friend who came with us.

wonderful, quirky converted house serving good coffee, incredible deserts (vegan and non-vegan alike). always worth the visit, though it's closed on mondays. the earthy-goth decor may be the initial draw, but the all-natural food is what makes it worth retuning to. the bagel with mozzarela and peppers, vegan mixed berry tart, and especially the brownies are highly recommended.
