best all day & late night ( till 3am) hang with great menu & fun & fabulous staff.....! not to me missed if you are in memphis!

this has been the worst service i have every experienced ever!!!! our waitress "elizabeth" was the biggest b@$*h i have ever met. she does not ever need to be working in the restaurant industry. she give servers a bad name. i hope the owners of westy's realize how many customers she is running off and she will be the reason the business fails!!!

the worst delivery. i order out alot and have never been given an order with drinks spilled everywhere and all of my food cold. please don't order anything as far as delivery from here. thank you

i was very excited to see that there was a restaurant that offered a mutil-faceted menu downtown. i have ordered from westy's several times. we usually enjoy the food and the service that we receive. unfortunately, the last time we ordered, we found a very long blonde hair in our smoked sausage sandwhich. this wasn't okay!!

great place for a late night snack after a long night of bad judgment and too much alcohol. service is not the best but the food is good. good for watching really drunk people make a fool of themselves.

great little spot with a lot of character (and characters) in the pinch (an underrated neighborhood as far as i'm concerned.) if you're at the pyramid or otherwise heading downtown, this is a great stop (free street parking and wi-fi). i've only had the tamales so far (they were great), but they have a bunch of dishes, especially rice bowls, that i want to try. it's basically a great local dive bar with lots of food. also, they do a lot of charity work around the holidays, so it's a business with a heart.

just left westy’s after a very disappointing experience. took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our order. multiple tables came, ordered, and received their orders while we were left waiting. when we asked, we were assured our order was being worked on. this happened three times. food was good when it finally arrived, but very frustrating experience. could have at least given us a round on the house while we waited. too many opportunities in downtown to give it another chance anytime soon.

the place is in downtown, memphis. this places ambience is very good. the quality and quantity was very good and delicious. ther sever were also attentive and well behaved. best place to visit if you are near downtown.

locality was nice. it was very clean and hygienic. i went there first time. ambience is good and beautiful. service is polite and swift. icecream was very nice. i loved the flavour of that . apart from tha bar food was also good. overall, a nice place to go and have some cuisine ❤️

was here last on the 23rd of may and originally went in for pie but decided to get the catfish sandwich and wasn't disappointed! it was a hefty portion of golden fried catfish and a good helping of tater tots that covered the entire plate. being the 'fat' person that i am; i ate the entire portion and was very happy. i recommend this place, the server was nice and the lunch crowd wasn't so crowded that i couldn't enjoy my company and conversation.

i loved westy's when it was the north end and still love it! the wild rice dishes are great comfort food! you can choose so many combinations of meat and vegetables to add to your rice. you have to finish with the chocolate brownie with whip cream an french vanilla ice cream!

worth the wait. we choose westys while in town for a very large conference. we arrived just before the huge crowd and managed to order before they got terribly busy. the hot tamales were steamed just right and the red beans and rice were good... if a bit too tomato based for my taste. my student ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was just chicken strips with sauce poured over them on a bun. it was good, but not great. the service was as good as could be expected under those circumstances. i am pleased we visited... but probably will not go again on this trip.

diner from memphis. a frio had been going and he introduced me and it was great.. i loved the service and the fried pickles are to die for.. been a lot only had one bad experience.. i will go back!!!!
