westerville grill

very good american style food. the turkey manhattan was delicious and satisfying. my kids had a burger and fries along with a spaghetti dinner that they really liked. service was a little slow at first, but the when the waitress came was very nice and attentive and the food arrived quickly.

went for breakfast at dinner time. pancakes were huge! had the corned beef hash which was good. prices were reasonable. will definitely go again.

the reuben sandwiches are to die for! i found it a bit pricy for the quality but thoroughly enjoyed the juke-box diner feel that the restaurant has. the service is also quite quick and the servers are very polite and helpful.

menu prices need updated! wife & i went for dinner last night, and the prices charged were as much as $2.00 higher, than published. her french fries were over cooked, and soggy, i ordered a side salad with my meal, and it came out same time the entree  did. i would think it should have been earlier. we've been there several times before, and food was generally good, but this time was a real surprise for us. i doubt if we'll be back, anytime soon.

the mrs. and i decided to try this place as a spur of the moment dinner. we ordered the bacon and cheddar fries appetizer platter, and both of us got uptown burgers and their mac and cheese. the service was solid, they were moderately busy for dinner and we never felt ignored and our cups never went empty.

we loved the fries, the bacon on the fries were chopped strips and portions were very hearty. the burgers were cooked to the desired temperatures and were great on the texas toast. but the mac and cheese was a complete surprise. the mac and cheese was homestyle with ample cheese melted into it. again with great portions.

so all in all we got the platter of cheddar bacon fries (enough to feed 4, we could only eat half)  2 loaded half lb cheeseburgers, hearty portions of mac and cheese and 2 cokes for $33 after tax (before tip).

we already are planning on bringing friends and family to this place.

disappointed. stopped there today 4/25/2015. my wife and i were totally ignored. one guy was at a computer, the other talking on his cell phone, and the cook looking through the window wondering why he was not getting any orders to cook. the only other time we ate there the food and service was good. this what happens when you have a all male crew they can't handle it. sounds like from other reviews this place is wishy washy on food and service.

gift card where i bought it was not good. food and service was great. i bought a gift card there last christmas. they issued me a westerville gift card. when we went there to use it, they said they no longer accept them. felt a little used.

not very good. burgers are always overcooked. friendly servers but the food is just blah.

fried bologna sandwich. we love westerville grill!! everything is great from breakfast, lunch to dinner. get the fried bologna sandwich and save your gas money driving to waldo.

stopped in and had breakfast. so tastey!! i had the french toast and my friend had the pancakes. the whipped butter really topped it off! very yummy! fast and friendly service! definitely going back again! :)

great breakfast spot right uptown!. i previously wrote a review of westerville grill and gave it 2 stars, but my husband and i have been back several times since and have completely changed our attitudes. i now give it 5 stars. their breakfast is so good!

the breakfast sandwich is really good, and we really like the bread it comes on. not to mention it's huge. my usual go-to is the breakfast burrito. quick tip: get the potatoes on the side instead of inside the burrito. one of our servers recommended that because it makes the burrito less dry. makes a big difference and the burrito that much tastier. last time we were there my husband got a pancake special they were having; really unique and super flavorful.

the prices are great, especially considering the portions. it's a small place inside, but they also have a large patio outside which is great when the weather is nice. the service is still fast and so friendly; we always feel welcome and appreciated when we're there. great place all around!

skip it. prime rib was fried, and really did not taste like prime rib. bleu cheese dressing was tasteless. sweet potato tots tasted like they came out of a freezer bag.

great all the way around. great food, great atmosphere, and some fantastic eye candy to boot! their mac & cheese was fantastic!

disappointed. the food was terrible. of the three orders, one was completely wrong. the meatloaf was chewy and tasted like a plain leftover hamburger patty from last week. the mashed potatoes had dirt in them, and the gravy looked....well, i would not want to describe it here. in the end, we paid over $30 bucks for two orders of fries and three glasses of cola. there is a reason they were almost empty on a saturday evening. very disappointed.

great little diner. my kids love that you can get breakfast for dinner. food quality is good. service is fast and friendly. nice little place to grab a quick bite.
