on holiday from melbourne and can’t fault this restaurant. very fun cute vibe and decor around. the food was so yummy.. loved the tuna tartare and kingfish ceviche but all dishes we had were great. service is very lovely and friendly and went above and beyond. hopefully i come back to cairns one day so i can visit again and try more! thanks :)

nice izakaya with pretty decent fusion japanese food. the dishes are pretty pricey though. we got the mexican ceviche, vegetable tempura, chicken katsu curry with cheese and the jumbo roll. the sashimi wasn’t very fresh, texture was way too chewy. the highly would’ve been the ceviche and the cheese chicken katsu

i ordered a beef noodle but it wasn’t that tasty.
too much ginger as topping and not enough noodle. the bean sprouts were way undercooked, it’s barely mix with other veggies. the beef was tender but some of them was a bit scorching.

we ate here twice in four night, so that should tell you how good this place is. we had the miso soup, combination sashimi and the old school nigiri plate. the miso was nice and strong, made from a great dash broth and the fish was so fresh and really tasty. the waitress and the sushi chef were very friendly and so welcoming. we will definitely eat here whenever we are in cairns.

our first dinner in cairns~ food are pretty good and beyond my expectations~ ordered all highlighted dishes on the menu. nothing to complain about. will come back again to try the other dishes~

yum! we were really impressed with the quality of the food here and also the service. we had the mixed sashimi which was fresh, clean, tender and was served with freshly grated tasmanian wasabi! we also had the nigiri platter, vegetarian gyoza and some edamame washed down with 2 pints of the house geisha beer. we lived everything and will definitely be back.

we ordered the chicken curry cheese gyoza and they were bloody amazing!! also had the pork belly & broth and the rockstar chicken. loved all of it. thanks.

great restaurant. would describe the food as 'modern fusion japanese' food was fresh and delicious and great value. my partner and i had the gyoza, spicy tuna sushi, sichuan chicken and rice to share. $60 total and left feeling full. service was fantastic, staff friendly.

superb cuisine, simple menu, happy restaurant with japanese mood music and genuine fresh food. go for the bamboo thingy if you eat meat. we had a lovely cool evening while it was 36 outside. loads of patrons from nippon.

stopped by for lunch today - cool and funky japanese venue. i had the sachuan chicken and rice. great serving size for a very reasonable price. very tasty with a pleasant chilli tang.

really good food. had katsu curry and it tasted just like the real japanese flavour. also the only place i have been in cairns that had real tsingtou beer! very authentic. quick service and great food. nice prices too. highly recommend.

great little restaurant. highly recommend. good selection of beers. sashimi and sushi great. loved the panko pork skewers and chicken karrage.
