our first time at wagner's pharmacy. we arrived about 8:30 in the morning for breakfast and seated ourselves. this place is not fancy, but really cool looking with old formica table tops and the walls are covered in old horse racing memorabilia. our waitress came over and got our drink order while we looked over the menu. my husband decided on the pam and jack omelet that was featured on throw down with bobby flay. i chose the ham and cheese omelet and decided to add gravy to my side of biscuits, because they had won best of louisville. our drinks came out in styrofoam cups (which was nice for a tea to go). our breakfast came quickly and my husbands omelet was huge! i think it was twice the size of mine and mine wasn't little by any means. the biscuits were light and fluffy, maybe the best i have ever had out. i wish they were served with real butter instead of country crock. the gravy on the other hand was just ok. it might have been a mix, either way i was not impressed. something i found a little odd, our omelets were served on real plates but our biscuits came on styrofoam plates. what keeps this from getting a higher score was our server. she was not overly busy, but was not friendly and never came back to check on us. she took our order, brought our drinks and dropped off our food and check at the same time. there was another waitress that was talking with her customers and smiling, getting refills for them. our waitress missed the mark.
