volcano burgers

a lot of pressure was put on me a few weeks back. my niece was performing at a cheer leading competition in long beach, and i was assigned to come up with a place for the whole family, plus others to eat at after the festivities. of course being the seasoned food blogger that i am, i went on-line, and found a place that i hoped would satisfy both young and old, volcano burgers. burgers are becoming the new pizza. it used to be that almost every neighborhood had their favorite pizza places. now almost every neighborhood can lay claim to what they consider a really goodburgerspot. being aburgerguy, this makes me very happy. after sitting through numerous cheer leading routines, all of which seemed to contain the song, "call me maybe", we had worked up quite an appetite. in los alamitos everyone favoriteburgerdestination is volcano burger. this well establishedburgerjoint has been serving up burgers for this community for o

found valcanoburgervia urban spoon. large portions, very reasonable price. my 11 year old said he liked in-n-out better. everyone agreed the food was good, but not fantastic. i would go again, but not out of my way. covered outdoor dining. order from steet window. across the street from los alamitos hs. i would imagine that is their pratt clientele. sign says "drive through" but i saw no sign of that, aside from doing construction in the parking lot, so maybe it's coming. 7-19-10
