this place is on my top ten list in the world now! we came hear after hiking routeburn track. everything in this place is awesome! the decor matches the multi-level word play of the restaurant's name. it is kinky, unusual, original, unexpected, but not overdone - fantastic artwork on the walls and everywhere else. the service was excellent: helpful, polite, not rushed and friendly. the food was just fantastic! we had the soup of the day, which was a fusion of thai and italian cuisines, a duck and a wild venison. the house red wine (ausy bloodygoodred) was bloodygoodand a blended white called "the white" was excellent as well (similar to sokol blosser evolution). the food was sogoodthat we finished every last piece of it even though we almost never do that. finally, even if you are sure about what you want for dessert - try the yukkies. they are deliciously addictive.
