excellent fodd and service. i have eaten here many times and have never ever been the least bit disappointed. the service is always excellent, quick and friendly. the food is delicious. there is also a wide vareity of good wines to choose from. if you time it right even on a friday or saturday you can get a table without waiting too long.

stop reading reviews and just go to vito's. we recently ate at vito's for the first time and it was amazing! i have eaten at some really good italian restaurants in little italy in nyc and san fransisco, and i would rate vito's food as one of, if not the, best italian meals that i have ever had. the portions were large and we all tried each other's dishes-no one had anything that was less than outstanding food. i had completely given up on finding even average italian food in jax and just drove past vito's for years assuming it was more of the same. big, big mistake. on vito's high recommendation, i got the veal saltimboca and i thought that i was going to have to fight the other people in our group to get to keep it. hands down the best veal saltimboca ever. we also had the portobella stuffed bada bing and the scallops bada bing as appetizers for the table. i am not sure what type of cheese went into it but it had a smoky, almost chocolaty flavor and was absolutely delicious. reasonably priced (and you could probably split an entree with someone) and a great time with great food. the only regret you will have about this place is that you didn't try it sooner.

good food. we held my daughter's hs graduation party here and were treated like family. great antipasta plate. everyone had what they wanted and everyone was happy. great for a family and friends get together and great for a nice dinner for two.

great homemade italian, family atmosphere, good service, and wine. only recommendation is that the hostess look and act more professional, i heard all about the three ladies personal issues while waiting for a table during a packed friday night. we had a wonderful family dinner. mussels and pastas delicious, tiramisu and canoli were homemade.....yummy!!

jacksonville's "best kept secret". this place amazes! with every order. you really get your money's worth. whether you're ordering lunch, dinner or an appetizer, it is difficult to decide which is which because the serving portions are unbelievable! the presentation looks just as delicious as the food actually tastes...and yes...the food is "heaven" leaving a flavorful, orgasmic burst of the taste buds with every bite. it's that good!

there's not too many restaurants that will deliver food of this quality for free, but they do. i always say....anytime you get food delivered in aluminum foil...you know it's gonna be mmm...mmm..good! i always make up for it by giving a generous tip.

delicious food, fast service, free delivery, friendly staff and "gut busting" portions...what more could you ask for?

only caution is...if you're counting calories....you may want to stick with the "kiddie menu" from this place....and even then, you still get more than a fair share of "delectable heaven"

i love it!!!. i have to say this is the best food in jacksonville always on point with my the dishes i order.. a peace of heaven with every bite. so if your looking for real italian dishes and a good family who always seem to put a smie on your face this is the place you should go.

had dinner and it was excellent. baked stuffed shrimp awesome. strongly recommend for good home style italian cooking.

may be the best italian food ever. first off, the food is amazing! but, and it is a big but, the service has always been terrible! they are definitely trying right now to make it better, but overall, go preparing to wait. but, it is worth it!
