amazing! ask for the jam to add to your bread! the sweet potato fries with tomato aioli are a good side with your lager. the food is delicious. we've been for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and have never left disappointed. a nice beer selection is a plus.servicewas pretty good.

tastefully thin. if your a thin crust fan, this is your place. it was not a cracker crisp crust like i was hoping for but tasty. the sliced beef they do is out of this world.
i tasted a typical pep pizza. their homemade sausage pizza. yes their sausage is amazing.
then of course their sliced beef with the gardineieres! all washed down with some tasty pbr!

ourservicewas awesome. i suspected it not to be, happy to be wrong. our waitress provideded us with some laughs and kept our beverages full. as busy as this place was, i was impressed.

my only annoyance was a guy whom kept bumping into my chair while i was eating. its tight quarters! atmosphere was positive. seemed to be a good mom and pop place.

terrible service! we were coming regularly until we dealt with one of the worst servers ever (i'm a server i would know) the woman (she was older) was rude the entire service. from her introduction of: "hurry up and order it's a 45 min wait" followed by her gratuiting a party of 5 and then lying and saying its on the menu (it's parties of 8 or more) to making a scene after we questioned why she tried keeping our 9$ in change on top of her tip! i'm sorry i only tip over when theserviceis good! won't be back ever again

a neighborhood gem. had i driven by vito & nick's i would've never guessed that it was a chicago must have. its facade borders dive bar, replete with its old style sign hanging over the sidewalk. this is a blue collar neighborhood eatery, where everyone at the bar knew everyone at the bar. i bellied up, ordered my old style and a small sausage pizza. the atmosphere couldn't have been more chicago. not chick chicago but thirty year-ago chicago neighborhood. if you're looking for snap of the finger frenchservicehead towards uptown. if you want friendly, will probably drink a beer service, pull up a stool.

the pizza came out; cracker-thin but traditional soft, buried under just the right amounts of sauce and cheese, and a generous amount of italian sausage, cut into one by two inch squares. my first few i thought to myself, good enough pizza. my third it clicked and i wondered if everyone in here knew how special this place was. in chicago pizza is art and this was a great example. i devoured one delicious square after the other driven on by my taste buds until, nearly through the whole pizza and my second old style, my stomach tapped out.

stop in just after five, wear something comfortable, experience chicago and what pizza can taste like.

worstserviceever. visited the restaurant today after hearing so many good things about your pizza. i was really disappointed. theservicewas awful.

the place was 2/3 of the way full and there was 3 servers and we had the slowest server of the bunch. i had to find her to come andserviceour table. once we finally ordered, i waited 40 min for jalapeno poppers and an additional 30 min (a total of 1 hour 10 min) for the pizza. while other tables who arrived later than us, with different servers were getting there food faster. once the pizza arrived it was really browned, dark brown almost black. i'm not sure if this is how it always comes but it was a little too cooked for my liking. the pizza was fine though.

i was a server for 5 years so i try to be as forgiving as possible but theservicereally tested my patience. i will not be returning, i really wanted to like the place but the the horrendousservicereally ruined my dining experience.
