amazing brews and awesome food to match! cash only, but they have an atm in the back. their staff is friendly and aims to please. epic hummus.

pass. edible but uninspired food, and their patio seating is the highlight of their offerings. also, their french fries are limp and greasy.

the wait staff are competent but do not waste your breath asking them to split a check. they politely refused twice to split our check, but then offered and failed to follow through on providing separate totals for our two parties on one check. finally the waitresses admitted that she did not want to write up two checks. (btw-the place was not busy at the time so this was not part of the issue.)

we will not return to this forgettable establishment. i would much rather spend my money somewhere that works to earn my business.

excellent experience! we arrived later in the evening, around 10p. they were able to squeeze in a food order off the regular menu. we ordered a veggie burger and a grilled cheese. on the veggie burger, the basil blue sauce was exceptional. the grilled cheese was perfect, however i do regret not opting for the fries. if you do miss the main menu, they offer dollar tacos after 10p. great beer selection. i stuck to my ipas and both variations were great. fyi - this is a cash only establishment (they do have an atm available in house.)

i have been going to the mountain sun, southern sun, and vine st. for years now and every time i go i have a great experience. i had to write a negative review for another restaurant in boulder which used to be chill, so i thought i better write a positive review too. with how popular this family of restaurants have become i am so impressed they have kept the same quality of food, beer, and service. sure their restaurants are more crowded than they used to be, but they still always treat people with respect. that means so much. keep up the good work y'all!

great venue, nice neighborhood, open, friendly, social. if you like local brews, this is a place to stop. staff is very good and friendly. i had the nitro brown stout; the server was a little slow getting it to me and comped me for it, which he didn't have to do. cheeseburger was prepared nicely medium rare; fries were crispy. no credit cards, but the atm only costs a buck.

a little tucked away restaurant, vine street pub is like a little taste of boulder right in the middle of denver. the staff is so friendly and accommodating, which was really nice. the food was pretty okay, but the beers were the shining stars, for me. the outdoor seating and patio areas are spacious and perfect for socializing with friends and playing some cornhole. if you want to sit inside, try to go on a live music night!

this is my favorite brewery/restaurant in denver. i really enjoy the fyipa, java porter, and hop vivant imperial ipa (when it's available). the food is pretty traditional pub food, but very well done. at vine street you can find burgers, nachos, burritos, salads and a variety of sandwiches. they have tempeh (the tempeh rueben is yummy), which you can substitute for the meat on any sandwich--an awesome option for vegetarians! i like to get the buffalo chicken but with tempeh instead. i'm a huge fan of the nachos, and the weekend brunch is excellent. check out my photos to see for yourself! one helpful note: they do not accept credit/debit cards (though they have an atm on site), so be sure to have cash or a local check on hand.

though this is a pub the food is beyond just pub food. we may consider it gourmet pub food from burgers and fries to soups and salads. the date night burger is a delicious choice with roasted poblano peppers, hickory smoked bacon, goat cheese, and a date puree.

i never have understood the hype about this place. the food is fine, though nothing special. as for the beer, they seem to think the key us to just add as much hops as possible, like far too many breweries these days. no thanks.

one of the best pubs i've been to. search "best wings denver, co" blamo!!!! vine street pub! great food! great beers! great staff! i go every year during the "great american beer featival", never disappointed.

most recently, vine street pub opened near city park in denver in 2008. it operated without its own brewing facilities until april of this year. now, its 5,000 barrel per year output capacity allows it to brew up over 50% more than the combined yearly capacity of both mountain sun and southern sun.  vine street pub & brewery exterior unfortunately, the three mountain sun locations don't jive well with our busy schedules and deep-in-the-south-suburbs living situation. plus, e ven after the long trek to any of their brewpubs, they can be frustrating to eat
