big disappointment. some of the reviews here state that the food is great. my experience was different. i ordered a serving of tabouli and a gyro/greek salad plate. the tabouli had a bitter taste which is a sign of it being old. it also had a slight chemical taste which is indicative of bottled lemon juice concentrate. i didn't finish it and at $3.95 for a small cup, not a great start. the gyro/greek salad arrived and i immediately realized that the salad was dressed with bottled italian dressing, you know the kind, clear, sweet, weirdly thickened, with little flecks of red in it. kraft? probably generic. this is not greek salad. there were a few spinkles of feta, but not a single olive as promised. two slices of cucumber and two little slices of roma. i only ate a couple of bites. the pita bread was good, soft and pliable. the gyro meat was beef (hoping it would have been beef/lamb, as is customary) was typical, not bad, not great. the tzatziki sauce was on the thicker side and was definitely not homemade. it was applied on the meat for me, so i had no control over how much i wanted the sandwich to have. when the waiter (who was nice) was asked about the dressing, he seemed surprised that italian dressing wouldn't be put on a greek salad, go figure. i mentioned the lack of olives and he offered to go and get me some, but i told him i wasn't going to eat the salad anyway, so let it go. bill: $11.80. i left $13.50. just chalk it up to one of those meals that you feel was pretty much a waste of money. live and learn.
