jerry, dad, and i each had a flawless idea for mom’s birthday dinner…pasta, seafood, steaks. it was turning into a tricky bit of negotiation until we thought of the perfect solution, villa grill in clemmons. located in the tanglewood commons shopping center, this casual eatery had exactly what my mother wanted for her special meal. we were greeted right away when we entered the cozyrestaurantand were seated at one of their tables (half of therestauranthas booths if you prefer). my parents wanted water to drink, so we decided not to partake of the beer and wine specials that evening. the birthday girl had first pick of the appetizers and selected the cheesy comfort bites, deep fried macaroni & cheese and cheese sticks served with marinara sauce.
